At least this is what TV critic Lisa De Moraes from the Washington Post thinks. This is how she sees Kara DioGuardi’s metamorphosis, it its complex stages: “They have sexed up her look a lot — more toussled hair and she’s adopted Paula’s ‘Going clubbing after this’ look. And they’ve moved her over next to Simon and suddenly she’s doing the shoulder rub and stroking his arm and exchanging sexy banter with him on air.” Well, Paula Abdul will be missed and she certainly had a special relationship with Simon Cowell, but that’s almost a married man we’re talking about there. Surely Kara DioGuardi isn’t just coping the field like that… but maybe it’s all heart in it, maybe she just wants to fill the void that was left when Paula Abdul was no longer a part of the team.
Now Ashley Cole has gone and done it… he’s got Cheryl Cole’s whole family mad at him. No chance for reconciliation now… a divorce looms on the horizon. This is what Cheryl Cole’s brother, Andrew Tweedy said about her soon to be former husband: “My heart bleeds for Cheryl, I know what she’s going through. This has really hurt her. She has a heart of gold and does not deserve it. Ashley Cole is arrogant and I will never forgive him for what he has done to my little sister.” So he’s not just her brother… he’s her big brother. Gossip Girl star Jessica Szohr said appearing on the show has helped her learn how to dress.
Szohr, 25, plays the role of Vanessa Abrams in the hit show, where she met her boyfriend Ed Westwick, who also appears in the US drama.
She said: “I’m learning more and more about clothes and designers from being a part of Gossip Girl and living in New York.
“In fittings now, I’m like: ‘I love that Diane von Furstenberg skirt or this Rag & Bone jacket.’ Whereas before, I wouldn’t have recognised those labels.”
She added: “I see all these pieces that Vanessa wears and I’m like: ‘Wait, I’ve got to get that!’”

Remember Me star Emilie De Ravin has said she didn’t know who co-star Robert Pattinson was before the movie.
De Ravin, 28, who also played Claire in US drama Lost, admitted that she wasn’t aware of his level of fame prior to shooting the film.
She said: “I didn’t really know who he was! I’ve never been a tabloid reader or a person who follows what somebody is going to the grocery shop for.”
De Ravin added: “The fan base is wonderful. But shooting with Rob in New York was crazy. There were girls climbing all over him, which did make things difficult.
“He’d been through it all before, but it was very new to me. Because the majority of fans were teenage girls, I felt like: ‘Oh, God, they all hate me!’”

It looks like too much time has passed since the pretend relationship with Billy Corgan and it was high time that Jessica Simpson found the next love of her life. Well, it’s not official yet, but it probably won’t take too long either. The singer was recently spotted with actor Jeremy Renner. A source made their intentions pretty clear: “Jeremy spent the night hitting on Jessica like crazy They were really flirting up a storm!” It certainly doesn’t take Jessica Simpson too long, does it? In this respect it sure does look like John Mayer has a bit of moral ground to crawl up to since the legs are missing.
The formula one driver is apparently very serious about giving his relationship with the Pussycat Dolls singer one more shot… and making it count this time. Lewis Hamilton has recently decided to rent two homes in Los Angeles so that he can be near Nicole Scherzinger. This is what a source said on the matter: “Lewis is determined to give their relationship another go. It unraveled before because they were never together in the same place, which made seeing each other very complicated. Lewis likes a bit of variety so he’s opted for two properties, a secluded house in Melrose and a swanky penthouse near his favorite shopping arcade, The Grove.” Maybe the racing isn’t going that bad if the man can afford two properties, they can’t be too cheap. Nicole Scherzinger will be so proud of him being so close. Everything just turn out just peachy!
Cindy Crawford simply doesn’t have time to count the wrinkles.
The 44-year-old supermodel, whose youthful looks are legend, said: “When you don’t have anything interesting to do, you start thinking too much about what you don’t have any more. When you can appreciate fulfilling things like family, work, friends or the possibility of helping other people, you will have a focus. The list could go on. But to be standing in front of a mirror and to moan ‘Oh my God, I’ve just found another wrinkle!’ That’s embarrassing. I don’t have time for that.”
Crawford quit modelling in 2000 and has other lines of business. She told a German newspaper: “I enjoyed my life, but I’m happy my times as a supermodel are over. I had a great time and a lot of opportunities. But I’m a mother. When you have children you see the world with different eyes, that’s the wonderful thing about it. Because of my children I live a completely new and different life – for me that’s worth a fortune. I still work a lot – for my own business, though – which is really fulfilling.”

Frankie Muniz is now the drummer of the unsigned band You Hang Up from Arizona and the actor/race car driver/musician recently opened up about his latest career move. Frankie talked about his background in music saying “I’ve been playing since I was 12 years old, but nothing serious. I was a five-minute-per-week hobby drummer. I’d only played to my iPod with headphones on. It was always a dream to be in a band, but with acting going on, I never really considered it being something that could actually happen. And if I could get in a band, I wanted it to be something that was completely serious, with good music. But it felt like one of those jobs when you’re a kid and you want to be an astronaut or something. I’ve been very fortunate in my life to have three of those jobs — being an actor, a race car driver and now a musician.”
Russell Brand has confirmed he is to star in a remake of Dudley Moore’s classic movie Arthur.
“I’m remaking Arthur!” an excited Brand told MTV. “I’m going to make him out of flesh I find on the subway.”
The actor says they are still casting for the other main roles for the remake, which will be directed by Jason Winer, a key figure behind US TV’s Modern Family.
“We’re casting at the moment,” said Brand, promising some exciting news.
He quipped that Liza Minnelli – who played opposite Arthur in the original movie – will reprise the role.
“She is playing the love interest,” Brand joked of the actress, now 63.
“If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. That’s my motto. Liza worked in the first film, she will work in this and any subsequent films.”
Brand also says the music – which featured Burt Bacharach-penned tunes – will also be a key link to the original.
“I think people will cover those songs from the original,” Brand told MTV.
The original movie centered on a boozy playboy who is set to inherit a fortune if he marries an heiress his family thinks will make something out of him. However, he falls in love with a working-class woman and turns to his valet for help when his family makes him choose between money and love.
Actress Brooke Shields has revealed that Michael Jackson thought he was dying and that she wasn’t surprised by the King of Pop’s death.
The former Suddenly Susan star, 44, made her comments in a US magazine.
She said: “He [Jackson] thought he was dying already.”
And while she was devastated by her famous friend’s death last June, Shields said that she was not surprised.
She said: “They were killing him – the people and the press.”
The Lipstick Jungle star also spoke out in defence of Jackson who faced child-sex abuse charges and a high-profile trial in 2005.
The mum-of-two said that she never believed the music legend was a child molester and that she warned him that his sleepovers with young boys would be misunderstood, telling him: “Michael, the world’s not going to get it.”
The former child star, who started modelling at the age of 11 months, also revealed that she doesn’t want her two daughters – Rowan, six, and Grier, three – to go into showbiz.
She said: “It’s a high like you can’t imagine… But, no, I don’t want them involved. Every day you’re told what you are not – you’re not short enough, you’re not thin enough, you’re not pretty enough.
“You’re always losing out.”
Hollywood siren Megan Fox did a lot to dispel her celluloid image when she revealed her lovers can be counted on one hand.
“I’ve only ever slept with two men and the idea of a one-night stand makes me sick,” said Fox, who shot to fame and fortune with Transformers in 2007.
Fox told Harper’s Bazaar in an interview that apart from her boyfriend, Brian Austin Green, she has only ever been with one other man, who was her childhood sweetheart.
“I’ve only been with two men my entire life. My childhood sweetheart and Brian. I can never have sex with someone that I don’t love, ever. The idea makes me sick. I’ve never even come close to having a one-night stand.”

I have looked after Kassius since he was three and he has no memory of life without me. Hugh Hefner met ex-girlfriend Kendra Wilkinson’s baby son Hank when they visited the Playboy Mansion.
The 24-year-old reality star took her three-month-old son Hank IV to the mansion in LA with her husband Hank Baskett, 27.
They met with Hefner, 83, and his new girlfriend Crystal Harris, 22, who is the only girlfriend still at the mansion.
Hefner then posted a picture of the gathering on Twitter and said: “Kendra and Hank are back in LA and they brought little Hank for his first Mansion visit this afternoon.”
Bridget Marquardt, who also used to live at the mansion held a party for the family.
Hefner added: “Bridget Marquardt hosted a wonderful welcome back to LA party for Kendra, Hank, & little Hank this evening.”
The family recently relocated to LA from their home in Indiana, where Hank plays football for the Indianapolis Colts.
Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has said it will be ‘very sad’ to finish the final scenes in the movie series.
The 20-year-old actor has played the role of the boy wizard since he was 11 and will film the last scenes on the final flick, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, later this year.
Radcliffe said: “It will be very sad when it comes to finishing. But it’s something you have to accept.”
The actor admitted that he has started saying his goodbyes to some of the cast who have finished their scenes already.
He said: “Yeah, we’ve had a few people finish off their stories in the film, and they’ve been going home. It is odd [seeing them leave].”
Pete Wentz was recently announced as the national spokesperson for the 2010 UNICEF Tap Project. The project will take place during World Water Week 2010 on March 21 -27 and invited individuals to donate a dollar or more for tap water at participating restaurants to provide clean water t children around the world. The former Fall Out Boy band member said “It’s truly an honor to be the national spokesperson for the Tap Project and support efforts to provide clean water to children in the developing world. Water is something that we as Americans often take for granted but the reality is, the lack of clean and accessible drinking water kills 4,100 children under the age of five every day and as a new father I have become highly attuned to the needs of children everywhere. Unfortunately, it’s usually when emergencies like Haiti occur, that the importance of clean water really becomes apparent to the rest of us.”
Precious film director Lee Daniels reportedly put his foot in it during an acceptance speech at an awards show, when he made a comment about the lead character’s weight.
Gabourey Sidibe, who plays Precious in the award-winning film, appeared less than impressed when Daniels implied she weighed 25 stone during his speech at the NAACP awards ceremony.
“No one in Hollywood told me they wanted to see a movie about a 350lb black girl who had HIV,” Daniels said.
Correcting himself, he quickly added: “She’s not 350lbs – Gabby.”
Then looking at Sidibe, he awkwardly faltered: “But the book says… before you were hired.”
The 26-year-old actress, who has been nominated for an Oscar for her role in the movie, was caught on camera shaking her head during Daniels’ gaffe.
And she seemed relieved when the director corrected his mistake as he picked up the award for Best Film last night.
“OK. I wanted that in there. Thank you,” she said, patting Daniels on the shoulder following his faux pas.
But Daniels’ clanger failed to put a dampener on Sidibe’s evening as she picked up her own NAACP award for her leading role in the movie.
“It’s an honour to be nominated, but it’s awesome to win,” she screamed, before breaking down in tears as she thanked her co-stars.
And his accusation comes from his former wife, Katie Price, no less… now there’s a really certain source for the truth. It looks like Peter Andre is being labeled a liar by Katie Price in regards to him having dated a glamour model since their divorce. This is what Katie Price said on the matter: “Finally this news will show a side to Peter that has never come out before – no more Mr. Nice Guy. This just shows his true colors, he is not the perfect man like he claims to be, he’s a liar.” It looks like somebody is feeling a bit insecure right about now. Not to say that Peter Andre is so stable himself with his constant fear of losing his children, but at least he’s a got a real concern there.
Hollywood hunk Brad Pitt has been playing happy families while partner Angelina Jolie films her new movie.
Jolie is currently filming scenes in Paris for her new movie The Tourist, alongside Johnny Depp.
And while she has been on set, Pitt has been spending time with the couple’s six children.
The Jolie-Pitt clan has made Venice its home base while Jolie works across Europe over the next two months.
And on Sunday morning, Pitt was spotted out in Venice, with his hands full with the couple’s four oldest kids, Maddox, Zahara, Pax and Shiloh.
He took them out for a trip around the Italian city, showing them the sights and local culture.
In a rare move for a Hollywood actor, Johnny Depp has taken up the cause of convicted murderers the West Memphis Three.
Depp will go on TV’s 48 Hours Mystery to protest the convictions and lobby for a re-opening of the cases against Jason Baldwin, Jessie Misskelley and Damien Echols. The program promises to blow the lid on the controversial murders.
The trio was convicted of beating to death three 8-year-old boys in a suspected satanic ritual in Arkansas in 1994. Echols is serving a death penalty, while Baldwin and Misskelley were sentenced to death. The men were all teenagers when they were sent to jail.
Depp in the taping of the CBS program said: “I firmly believe Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin and Jessie Misskelley are totally innocent. It was a need for swift justice to placate the community. Damien Echols is on death row to be killed by lethal injection.”
CBS promises new forensic evidence in the case that could clear the men, UPI reports.

Even though from the judges’ comments you might have expected Alex Lambert to be the one to get wiped from the scene, surprise, surprise, Tyler Grady is the one who gets to go home. Even so, he still has a message for the judges as he goes: “I feel like I didn’t get much constructive criticism during Hollywood Week, and what they told me was a little too late.” Well, Simon Cowell surely will not be losing too much sleep over that… after all, the show must go on and a star must be chosen. In the end, there can be only one!
Disgraced Ashley Cole has reportedly taken refuge in France.
The UK football star and estranged husband of Cheryl is refusing to take off his wedding ring or shave, the Mirror claims.
Cheryl declared she had separated from her husband in the wake of a sex-texting scandal last week which he vehemently denied. Ashley, who had cheated on Cheryl early in their marriage, was alleged to have fired raunchy photos of himself via text to the phone of at least one other woman.
The Mirror reports a very close friend of the footballer says Ashley is now begging Cheryl to meet with him on Tuesday.
The friend said: “For the first time, Ashley is aware of the seriousness of what he’s done. He knows he messed up royally. All the boys have been telling him he’s an idiot and that he’s blown the best thing that has ever happened to him – Cheryl. His football mates say she is the fittest woman in Britain – and he’s been a mug. Ashley is filled with remorse.”
Ashley is crawling, the friend indicated. “He’s pleaded to meet Cheryl in the next three or four days for talks. He wants to state his case, and explain why he deserves another chance. Cheryl is in two minds. Her heart says ‘yes’ but her head says ‘no’. She is so confused.”
