Lawyers for Brit’s conservatorship filed papers Tuesday in federal court, asking the court to reject the bid to remove the case from the California Court system.
The papers state that Britney was not able to even hire a lawyer for the federal case because she’s not allowed to under the conservatorship order. (Attorney Jon Eardley, who filed the federal case, has claimed that Britney hired him.” The conservators are also asking for court costs since they feel the federal case is without merit and a waste of time.

Meanwhile…
Federal judge Philip Gutierrez issued a tentative ruling today in the Britney conservatorship case. He set a deadline of February 29th for her ‘new lawyer’ Jon Eardley to give reasons why the federal court should insert itself into Britney’s business because as it stands now they do not have jurisdiction to get involved.
In other Britney related news, the LAPD’s investigation into Lynne’s Spears’ allegation that Sam Lutfi was allegedly drugging Britney is still active.
The case has been assigned to Robbery Homicide, “primarily because of the sensitive nature of the allegations and the intense media interest in Britney Spears†reports TMZ. Com
