Canadian rock star Bryan Adams who lives in Chelsea West London has contacted London police seeking help to deal with a mother and son who have been harassing him ever since he signed an autograph for the two at a restaurant. The obsessed pair have showed up in his neighbourhood as well.
London’s Evening Standard newspaper quotes an inside source saying:
“He was happy to sign an autograph, but this woman and her son have become obsessed with him. He doesn’t want them to get in any serious trouble, but he really wants to be left alone by them.”
The police have also given him safety advice as well as helped him install a panic button in his home.
A police spokesperson said:
“We are investigating allegations of harassment by a man in his late 40s. There have been no arrests and inquiries continue.”
