The record label that reps several artists such as: Madonna, James Blunt, and Led Zeppelin to name a few, is pulling their videos from YouTube.com.
The move follows a dispute between the record company and the site, according to a report by FemaleFirst. Management at Warner Music has chosen to remove the artists’ promotional videos, after failed negotiations for a new contract with the owners of the site regarding downloading rights.
“We simply cannot accept terms that fail to appropriately and fairly compensate recording artists, songwriters, labels and publishers for the value they provide,” the people at Warner Music stated.
