Here is an adorable new clip of John Mayer doing the squeeze play on his furry buddy Elmo. The two just got together to do the promotion for the upcoming PBS special Coming Home: Military Families Cope With Change.

John wrote the following entry on his blog:

“Of all the highlights in my career, I don’t know of one more sentimental than getting to walk through Sesame Street. Yes, there seems to be somebody always standing right below Elmo and his friends, mouthing along to everything they’re saying, but somehow I’m too filled with wonder to ever look at them. When you make contact with those big beautiful eyes, you’re done. Five years old again. Life is good.”

This is something for the troop’s families and for ther kids.

The Sesame Street special airs @ 8PM on April 1 on PBS.

These two leeches were the subject of a court hearing in LA today.

Adnan Ghalib and Sam Lutfi both had restraining orders filed against them ordering them to stay away from Britney. Her father and attorney went to court and filed documents stating that these two leeches had tried to mess with Britney’s conservatorship:

“in a way that would be extremely harmful to her.”

Jon Eardly, an attorney who represented / acted on behalf of Lufti, also had an order filed against him as well.

TMZ is reporting about it but the gist of it is this:

“One of the lawyers in the case filed a declaration saying over the past month she received “multiple telephone calls and text messages from Lutfi.” She says Lutfi wanted to set up an urgent meeting to “speak with Mr. Spears and me with regard to what he claimed was ‘information he had received about Mr. Spears and his daughter, Britney Spears as well as others.’” The attorney also says Lutfi claimed “he had been talking with Adnan Ghalib about the conservatorship and Ms. Spears’ status as a conservatee.

In another document, one of the conservatorship lawyers claims “Mr. Lutfi has sent text messages and instant messages that contain false and hurtful allegations concerning Mr. Spears, Ms. Spears, and the Spears family.” The lawyer continues, “Mr. Lutfi, Adnan Ghalib, and Jon Eardley sought unsuccessfully to induce an attorney to file” false statements with the court.”

TMZ goes on to write:

“The papers make it clear….”Over the past month, Ms. Spears has had numerous telephone conversations with both Mr. Lutfi and Mr. Ghalib and has exchanged numerous text messages with both of them.” But we’re told now Brit is so mad at them she wants them locked up.

Interesting fun fact: In the petition for the TRO, it says Brit has been communicating with Adnan and that “Ms. Spears innocently informs Mr. Ghalib of her destinations and that he then arranges for paparazzi to meet and film her to his financial benefit.”

So it seems that Daddy’s little girl has been naughty. She was in communication with them both but now she’s pissed off at them for some reason, is afraid and wants them jailed! The fact that the papers show she was still talking with them, which in itself is beyond disturbing, just goes to show she is not well yet and most definitely still needs to be under the conservatorship until she is stabilized.

I wonder if Pappy Spears can sue them both for harrassment. They need more than a restraining order to get rid of these freaks. She is NOT well mentally, it’s really frightening that these two are still trying to manipulate and take advantage of her.

Nick Carter is continuing celebrating his 29th birthday. He had a party in L.A. and is doing it again tonight, as well as on Friday, and Saturday at some Canadian clubs. The venues for the Canadian partays are: Nava tonight, Tila Tequila in Ottawa, and then in Montreal on Saturday at L’action Supper Club.

Tonight’s venue, Nava, is not really a club, it’s more of a restaurant/bar with a little dance floor. It’s not even located near the entertainment district, I’m surprised his people know of it!

The tickets are a bargain! $15 in advance and $20 at the door. The ticket info says to:

“Come early to avoid disappointment, as this will be a sold out event.”

Fliers are advertising the birthday bash as being “invited to this rare VIP event to celebrate the birthday of Nick Carter.”

Nick will entertain the crowd by DJing the events, although let’s face it, anyone that can press “play” on their mp3 can be a DJ!

Kelly Clarkson’s new single “My Life Would Suck Without You” is now sitting pretty at the #1 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. In one week she shot up from the #97 slot which means she has just broken the record previously held by Britney Spears’ “Womanizer” which went from #96 to #1 in one week’s time.

Kelly’s song also holds #1 spot on the Digital Chart with 279,605 sold in its first week. This is the 3rd biggest digital song debut for a female artist.

Madonna has announced that she plans on visiting the cities she did not get around to last year. Her official website just posted the message below:

“Madonna fans, are you ready for more? We are happy to confirm that the rumors are true: Madonna has decided to extend her ‘Sticky & Sweet’ Tour. She is looking forward to an amazing summer in Europe, hitting the cities she didn’t get a chance to in 2008.”

The message went on to advise fans to wait for the official on-sale dates before making plans to travel:

“While detailed itinerary will be released later this week, we highly encourage you to wait for official on-sale dates and info before ordering tickets to rumored shows and venues.”

Isn’t it interesting that despite the dismal economic situation the world over, she has managed to have the most successful tour of 2008?

Britney Flickinger is the girl who won the prize of becoming Paris Hilton’s BFF. She actually competed on the show for it, and won, but apparently the friendship has faded since Paris is looking for another BFF with season 2 of her show, so what’s a girl to do? Debut a single!

The song is called, “Treat Me So Bad,” which is kind of sad really, since she only became ‘famous’ for winning a reality show, and now that she’s being replaced as a BFF is she hurting really badly?

Is this a message to Paris or is this song about someone else who has also dissed her?

Poor girl. I kind of, sort of, feel sorry for her. So public with her pain.

Jessica Simpson stuck out her tongue to the audience as she performed a multi-song set during the “99.9 KISS Country Chili Cook Off” today at CB Smith Park on Flamingo Road in Pembroke Pines, Florida.

Chili Cook Off fans were entertained by country singers performing and Jessica sang her little heart out along with Alan Jackson, Jason Aldean, Justin Moore, and Little Big Town.

I’m not loving the tongue shot, but I am loving her double leopard print belt, although if I do say so myself, she is at an embarrassingly low grade event to wear such a stylish accessory!

Kevin had an interview with Channel 955 in Detroit about Tuesday night’s White House scavenger hunt for President Obama’s daughters. The band ended up being the prize and got to sing to Sasha and Malia Obama.

Kevin says:

“We were there waiting for them as the prize at the end of the hunt,” he said. “So when they came to their final room and opened up the door, we were there, waiting to play a couple of songs specifically for them. And we got to hang out with them.”

He went on to say that even though the brothers have been to the White House before, he still loves it:

“It is a whole other level of excitement I have been in [the Oval Office]. I’d want it for my office.”

When asked about their purity rings he answered:

“We believe in something, and that’s pretty much that, and we’ve talked about it enough,” he said. “We try to be the guys our parents raised us to be.”

An honest answer to such a private question. Such a sweetie.

Here is Leona Lewis’ new video for “I Will Be” with a cameo from Chace Crawford, the hottie from Gossip Girl. Chace has a few speaking lines at the beginning of the clip. The video was directed by Melina Matsoukas, the same director of Leona’s international video version of “Bleeding Love.”

In the video Leona plays the part of a criminal who gets arrested by Cedric Darius playing an NYPD officer.

After listening to all that, it all comes down to her standing up for herself telling everyone that they need to stop thinking they know all about her because they don’t!

She has her own t.v. show, is on magazines, and all over the net, so no…Miley is NOT just like any average teenage girl, her life is way different from others. When she decided to go into the entertainment industry, she probably didn’t really realize the full impact having her privacy invaded would have on her.

An absolutely beautiful and inspiring thing to see. A President and First Lady so obviously in love danced the night away at the Home State Inaugural Ball, representing Hawaii and Illinois, held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. yesterday.

First Lady Michelle Obama wore a cream-colored asymmetrical dress designed by Jason Wu.

Beyonce must have been under such intense pressure when she performed this, but she did an outstanding job, she really sang it beautifully.

Yesterday, Chief Justice John Roberts mixed up the words while swearing in Obama as President, so today President Obama re-took the oath this afternoon at the White House.

(Obama realized that chief Justice John Roberts had the words in the wrong order, so he paused to give him the chance to correct himself.)

White House counsel Greg Craig said that Obama took the oath from Roberts again out of an “abundance of caution.”

So many people have something negative to say Amy’s scandalous antics, but in my opinion, she still has what it takes when it comes to singing. Such a gifted artist, hopefully she’ll get her act together soon and do what she was born to do and that is use her talent to share her gift. Her voice is not created or manufactured in a studio unlike so many of today’s pop stars.

Josh has gone back to England and despite telling the UK’s Sun that she is going to wait for her Blaaaake, she already has found another island guy to play with.

The UK’s Sun is reporting that an island ’source’ told them:

“Amy has met another chap and they are getting on really well. She has had her eye on this bloke for a while. He is another clean-cut, handsome, healthy bloke, much like Josh. He teaches tennis and other sports at the resort where Amy stayed before she moved to the villa. Amy’s really into him.”

Here she is relaxing and supposedly ‘drying out.’ Her crack-free days are probably limited since relapse rates are higher for users who are not sober, but I believe European countries try to teach moderation of legal substances while abstaining from the drug of choice, unlike Canada and the U.S. who teach absolute sobriety and abstaining from all substances to avoid relapse.

Fearing a backlash and about to embark on a world tour, Britney had to rename one of her singles from her latest album, Circus. The song is called If U Seek Amy. However, the title actually means something much much more scandalous.

Many US radio stations have threatened to ban the song so in a ploy to guarantee radio play, her people decided to drop the letter “k” from seek rather than re-write the lyrics. The song will now be called “If U See Amy”

One of the lines in the song goes, “All the boys and the girls are begging to If You Seek Amy.”

*Say the song title very, very slowly, the syllables invite a sexual advance on Britney.

Katy Perry was mistakenly given Best International Song Of The Year Award for “I Kissed a Girl” at the NRJ Music Award at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes France on Saturday when she had actually won in another category. NRJ is France’s foremost music awards show.

The trophies were given based on results of audience votes on NRJ’s website in the weeks prior to the awards ceremony.

Perry had walked up to the podium to receive the award for Best International Song Of The Year, when she had actually won Best International Album for “One of the Boys”. Rihanna was the actual winner for Best International Song Of The Year for “Disturbia.”

At the end of the show however, the host Nikos Aliagas apologized and then announced that there had been an error during the counting of the votes and she was not the winner. Rihanna was for “Disturbia.”

Britney Spears who was not present to pick up her award won for international artist of the year. The Pussycat Dolls won for best international group and Enrique Iglesias was named top international male artist.

Beyonce will be singing the song, “At Last” for the first dance between Barack and Michelle Obama on inaugural night. Despite the spokesperson for the Presidential Inaugural Committee saying they were trying to keep the song a secret, either someone forget to tell Beyonce to hush because she told the world, or her alter-ego Sasha Fierce did it!

She gave a statement about it to Entertainment Tonight:

“I am so honored that I will be performing for President Obama and the First Lady. To sing ‘At Last’ while they have their first dance is a dream come true. I could not be more honored and excited that they have asked me to be part of this moment in history.”

Etta James is still alive, wonder why she wasn’t asked to sing it?

Madonna tops the new list of highest earning musicians.

After combining total ticket, album, and download sales to calculate which music acts were the year’s most popular among the “broadest swath of music lovers,” Madonna, the Material Girl came out on top.

Despite having one of the highest ticket prices in this economic downturn, it’s no surprise she earned the most, a reported $120.1 million domestically plus $281.6 million worldwide. Very impressive since she only toured for like, 4 months!

Once again, Taylor Swift has the #1 album in the U.S.

This is her sixth non-consecutive week that she has held the top spot on Billboard’s 200. The last artist who managed to do the same was 50 Cent when he released The Massacre in 2005.

Lady Gaga’s album sales dipped for The Fame but she managed to rise in the rankings going from number 26 to 14.

Katy Perry’s One of the Boys had a dip in album sales but rose up from the 23rd spot to the number 15 spot on the chart.

The chart is adjusting to the decrease in sales after Christmas.

Taylor Swift is riding the wave of popularity and will make a guest appearance on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. She is a fan of the show and was thrilled when they asked her to film an episode.

She’ll be playing Haley Jones, a dark-haired teen whose family runs a motel in Vegas.

I admit it, I watched this whole thing!

Miley is just acting her age, so if some people find her annoying… it’s frigging OK… she’s 16! but …what is her friend Mandy’s excuse? Supposedly she is 21. As for Justin, he seems chill. Although, when he made the comment about the bible scripture saying that everything hidden will be brought into the light, it made me wonder what he was referring to. Is there going to be some scandalous story coming out about them in the not so distant future?

I have to admit that if I put up a video I did with my friends, I wouldn’t want people hating on it, but I can’t help but notice and wonder about all sorts of things like…

* Her uvula, the one she cut on a piece of chicken the other day now seems healed… that was quick!
* Miley is wearing a white t-shirt … same as Justin. Did he give it to her?
* Miley knows all the words to his song too.
* She seems sooo immature compared with him, what really does Justin have in common with a 16 year old?

The Jonas Brothers have written on their MySpace blog and their fans will be thrilled because it is BIG NEWS! Last week the boys had said they’d have a “Big Announcement” soon and they just delivered:

Well with all of this anticipation what I understand from reading that is that they are asking everyone to watch their 3D Movie and they are having a world tour?! I EXPECTED ACTUAL DATES! All of this time waiting and we still need more info!
