Music mogul Simon Cowell has said he isn’t looking for a girlfriend after splitting with girlfriend Terri Seymour.

Simon, 49, had been with Terri for six years before they split last year and had previously been engaged to pal Sinitta.

But Simon said to British newspaper the Metro: "I don’t have enough time to go out. I quite like being single."

Simon has been busy filming his hit shows recently, which include American Idol, The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent.

Rapper Lil’ Kim turned on the charm to make sure of a high score from Dancing With The Stars judge Len Goodman – by giving him a big kiss.

The saucy star planted a smacker on Brit Goodman after he lavished praise on her performance of the Paso Doble.

She dashed over to the judges’ desk, leaned over and puckered up before heading backstage for her scores.

And it seemed to do the trick as she received a nine from Goodman – the highest score he has given her all series.

The score helped beaming Kim to the top of the leaderboard.

Goodman told her: “I thought this was going to be a bit of a disaster.

“But I have got to tell you, you have come out with fire, with passion.

“I was expecting ‘Oh no!’ but and I got ‘Ole!’”

Casey Aldridge has been charged with careless operation of a motor vehicle following a car accident, according to reports.

Police have told TMZ that Aldridge, 19, was driving on the LA 606 freeway in Louisiana when he lost control of his F150 truck.

The father of Jamie Lynn Spears’ baby was initially taken to the emergency room of Riverland Medical Facility before being transferred to another wing of the hospital.

Spears gave birth to her first child, a daughter, Maddie Briann Aldridge with fiancé Casey back in June 2008 aged just 16.

Her pregnancy caused scandal in the US because she was two years below the age of consent.

American Idol is known for varying themes in the competition not only to showcase the performing talents of the contestants but also to make the show more exciting. Last week was disco week for American Idol and everyone was in a dancing mood including the four judges who were allowed to comment on each performance. Among the favorite tune last week were Donna Summer’s greatest hits, Saturday Night Fever and Studio 54.

The show started wit Lil Round’s swan song “Chaka Khan’s “I’m Every Woman” which was applauded by the judges prompting Paula Abdul to say Lil Rounds should have sung like that last week. Lil Rounds sure sounded like she was having fun for the first time in the show and that may be because she sensed she was on her way out. Kris Allen picked Donna Summer’s “She Works Hard For The Money” and sang it nearly acoustic with a bongo support. Danny Gokey played it up with Earth,Wind and Fire’s “September” and while he sang it well, there was nothing new there. Allison Iraheta did Donna Summer’s “Hot Stuff” but what brought the house down again for the nth time was Adam Lambert’s rendition of “If I Can’t have You” from the Bee gees.

Madonna has made a "substantial" donation to victims of the Italian earthquake.

The donation came after the mayor of Pacentro – where Madonna’s grandparents lived until 1919 – appealed personally for the star for help after more than 200 people died in the devastating quake in the Abruzzo region of Italy.

According to publicist Liz Rosenberg, Madonna "responded generously" to the request.

Although no figure was given, U.S. reports have suggested the donation was in the region of $500,000.

"I am happy to lend a helping hand to the town that my ancestors are from," Madonna said in a statement.

"My heart goes out to the families that have lost loved ones or their homes."

More than 200 people have been confirmed dead in the devastating 6.3 quake, which struck at 3.32am Monday.

Sir Paul McCartney’s website, used by thousands of fans each day, has been hit by hackers.

The site was infected by a virus called the LuckySploit Toolkit, which meant the hackers were able to view the personal details of site visitors by recording their key strokes.

A spokesman for ScanSafe said: "They obviously chose that time because they knew the site would be busy. We’ve seen this before with Paris Hilton and it can cause all sorts of problems."

The spokesman added, according to British newspaper The Independent: "One of our clients was actually using the site and reported it to us. Hackers like these do around one site a week and obviously the more high-profile it is, the better."

A representative from McCartney’s online team confirmed to the newspaper that they have now resolved the issue.

The rep said: "Once we discovered what was going on, we sorted it out immediately."

Pop star Prince has penned a love song to newlywed Salma Hayek.

The track is titled Valentina, which is the name of Hayek’s 18-month-old daughter with French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault.

The lyrics include: "Hey Valentina, tell your mama she should give me a call/When she get tired of runnin’ after you down the hall/And she’s all worn out from those late-night feedings/and she’s ready for another rock and roll meeting."

Most people would hate to get up in the morning and know that it’s Lindsay Lohan who hitting the headlines once again. So what has she done to make the headlines one more time? The actress has released a new video dating Web site eHarmony.com titled ‘Searching For Love.’

The video clip is really hilarious and Lindsay Lohan is seen mocking at herself and especially mentions that she is looking for someone who would not issue her restraining order but rather love to walk with her by the beachside.

Some people have said that Lindsay Lohan’s comic sense is excellent in the video while others have said she has further ruined her career by speaking about her love troubles in the open. Let’s see what happens here on.

Katie Price has banned hubby Peter Andre from having other women in his music videos and said she will appear instead.

The 30-year-old model said: "I’m not having another woman writhing around with him. He’s a married man and people need to know that."

The couple will soon hit screens in their new reality show Katie and Peter: The Next Chapter Stateside.

In one episode of the show, viewers reportedly see the pair having an argument over Peter’s late-night trip to the cinema.

Katie said to British newspaper The Sun: "I did think he was cheating on me. The sex was different, he was deleting all his text messages and wouldn’t leave his phone on the side."

She added: "He was on the computer all the time, too. I definitely thought something was up."

The former Page Three girl is mum to Harvey, six, Junior, three, and Princess Tiaamii, one, and admitted they are planning on adding to their brood later this year.

Katie and Peter, 36, are taking part in the London Marathon later this month.

She added: "We said we would start after the marathon, so we’re going to begin trying the next day! I always get pregnant so quickly. I can guarantee I’ll be pregnant this year."

Miley Cyrus has filed a counter suit claiming she’s the victim of an Asian ploy and is now defending herself against those people that sued her for this alleged racist photo that surfaced.

Lucie Kim had sued Miley for $1 billion, on behalf of all Asian-Pacific Islanders in L.A. County.

TMZ is reporting that they have the papers Miley has just filed where she is asking the judge to sanction Kim’s lawyers for filing “a manifestly frivolous” lawsuit that amounts to nothing more than a “publicity stunt in an effort to publicly embarrass and harass [Miley] and to obtain a large and quick class-action settlement.”

Miley’s attorneys are asking the court to make Lucie Kim’s lawyers pay their $26,685 fees.

I have to admit, I do think Miley’s gesture in the picture is scandalous, but suing her for $4 billion dollars is beyond ridiculous! It’s vindictive for adults to file a frivolous lawsuit against a wealthy teenager because their ethnicity has been offended. There are people everywhere of all ethnicities being made fun of, including Caucasians.

The one random outburst that stunned everyone was when she complained about her costume, unaware her mic was still on:

I realize mistaking cities happens to other artists as well, so I’m curious as to why tour producers don’t do something to stop these mistakes, since they happen all the time.

Malawi’s Nation newspaper asked Madonna some questions regarding her failed adoption application. While I understand she is very disappointed, all this really means is that she is going to have to go through the proper channels by having a residence there for 18-24 months. Yes it’s a delay, but no doubt her high priced dream team is already in full appeal -mode.

It’s common knowledge that the US has a very nasty habit of allowing those who are privileged to be above the law, that doesn’t seem to be the case in Malawi.

She had this to say:

“I want to provide Mercy with a home, a loving family environment and the best education and health care possible. And it’s my hope that she, like David, will one day return to Malawi and help the people of their country. Though I have been advised that I cannot publicly discuss the pending appeal regarding my desire to adopt Mercy, I do want to say how much I appreciate the level of support that I have received from the people of Malawi and my friends around the world.”

I see that she has already put the onus on the two little children with saving their birth land, so I’m really looking forward to seeing Lourdes help the poor of the USA and little Rocco helping the poor of England.

Madonna, whose adoption bid was refused because she didn’t meet Malawi’s residency requirements still plans to appeal the judge’s decision for not allowing her application to adopt the three-year-old Malawian orphan girl named Mercy James.

The judge had said in his ruling that allowing Madonna to adopt Mercy could encourage child trafficking. Malawi’s laws on adoption are vague but prospective parents are supposed to be residents in the country for an 18- to 24-month assessment period.

That condition had been previously waived to allow her adoption of David Banda back in 2006.

Judge Chondo in his reasons said:

“By removing the very safeguard that is supposed to protect our children, the courts by their pronouncements could actually facilitate trafficking of children by some unscrupulous individuals who would take advantage of the weakness of the law of the land.”

Peter Baneti, who is the uncle of Mercy James, said the family were extremely upset that the little girl would now miss out on a privileged upbringing with Madonna.

Mr Baneti, 41, told The Sunday Telegraph:

“We as a family discussed this and agreed that it is in the best interests of Mercy to have her adopted, so why should the judge stop this if the family is OK with it?”

It is so very sad to me that the little girl isn’t living with any of her family members but has been in an orphanage all her life. It’s my understanding that her mother died shortly after her birth and the little girl’s father has been out of her life completely.

Trying to short-circuit the procedure worked for Madonna the first time but as disappointed that she is she wasn’t able to have things go her away again, she’ll no doubt do what has to be done to be allowed to adopt the child. She now plans on building a home in Malawi in addition to the school for girls that is currently in development according to reports by The Sun.

A source told the newspaper:

“Madonna has a big, beautiful plot of land over there already. She’s planning to build a girl’s school in the Chinkhota village and those designs are well under way, but she’s gone back to the designers and asked if they could accommodate a family home on the plot or on adjacent land.”

She is also building the home so that her adopted son David Banda “can maintain a stronger connection to his homeland.” I read that she arranged for her adopted son to have a visit with his birth father.

Which was nice.

Britney will be performing at the Staples Center arena in LA on April 16, and 17 and she just might have to make an appearance at an L.A. County courtroom… if she is well enough to appear.

Jon Eardley, Esq., the attorney who has said that Britney hired him to nix her conservatorship, has just filed legal documents requesting that she appear at a trial where he has been accused of harassing her and her family.

In his filed legal documents, Eardley suggests that if Britney is well enough to perform, she’s well enough to testify on two points — did she authorize him to take legal action on her behalf and did he really cause her “substantial emotional distress.”

The judge will determine if Britney is competent enough to testify and if it’s fair to force her into court.

Wonder how the judge will rule? Is she or isn’t she well enough? Is someone who is working/ performing on a world tour really incompetent by the standards courts usually use to determine competence? These will no doubt be very simple questions that she will be asked… after all, it’s not like she is in a vegetative state or has been declared permanently disabled or unable to make decisions on basic care for herself.

As I posted last night in the midst of the concert, she stopped her show for 40 minutes claiming that the smoke was too much. I do admit it was a little smoky in there, but a lot of it was from her smoke machines. Britney smokes, so I don’t know why all of a sudden it would bother unless she had an asthma attack. Rumors were swirling that she actually just ripped her pantyhose and had a hissy fit but no one can know for sure.

Overall the concert was pretty good, the Perez Hilton intro was hilarious props to Perez for putting on quite the show!

The dancers were amazing and the choreography was definitely well done. Britney dancing was up to par, but it wasn’t spectacular. I could even see she had a little chub on her belly which forced her to wear these awful granny panties.

Britney’s Bollywood take on “Me Against the Music” was pretty cute, and very original. It was one of the times where she really seemed pump to perform. She followed it with her terrible ballad everytime and told the audience she was going to show things down. I wasn’t there to listen to ballads, I was there to shake my booty.

Overall everyone there was around my age 20-25 and female. The odd few guys trying to hook up with the drunken ladies, and a few parent who brought there child (why??).

Oh and after the encore Britney said something along the lines of Don’t Smoke Weed Vancouver, and then “Rock out with your cocks out! Peace, motherfuckers!”

Crazy !!

I’m at Britney’s concert in Vancouver and she just walked off the stage… until the smoke clears. She’s only played 3 songs into the set. Seems as if there are too many concert goers smoking (which is illegal indoors) and she and the dancers cannot perform because of it!

This announcement was made over the loudspeaker:

“The building is awfully smoky. It is uncomfortable for everyone on stage, including Ms. Spears. Please extinguish all cigarettes – this is a non-smoking building, and the show will resume when the smoke on the stage is cleared.”

Whitney Houston’s mom is suing her a**! Apparently Whitney kept 1 million dollars in insurance money from when her dad passed away in 2003. She was supposed to pay off his mortgage with the money, as that was his wishes. Whitney being the diva she is, is counter suing her mom for 1.6 million. Why you ask? Well mama’s been living for free for 2 decades.

I can’t believe this. Whitney should be worth millions and she is bickering over her fathers insurance money, and her mom living for free! How sad is that.

Eminem’s new video for “We Made You” started playing on MTV today.

He mocks Lindsay and SaMan, Aniston & Mayer, Sarah Palin, Jessica Simpson as Daisy Duke, Amy and Blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaake just to name a few.

This isn’t exactly the most “relevant” video- it’s still slightly amusing, and makes a lewd time capsule for 2008.

He’s looking good though.

I’m not a fan of using Old English script in all caps, or the over-done making fun of Kardassian a**, bald Brett Michaels, Star Trek bits and the “Jailhouse Rock” homage. When Em first came out it was edgy to say crass things about people but now it just seems so dated.

It’s hilarious that Em thinks he is way more relevant than the people he is trying to make fun of!

Chris Brown has just pleaded not guilty to two felony counts — assault and making criminal threats. Rihanna was a no show but his mother was praying and crying for him. Also there in support of Chris were 4 bodyguards.

Donald Etra ,Rihanna’s attorney just made a statement saying that she would be pleased “if it [the case] were over quickly” which means she too is hoping for a plea bargain.

Chris is due back in court on April 29th.
