The singer is apparently so fond of the food on St. Lucia where she is currently residing that she refuses to return to London unless she will get a chef from the Caribbean island to come with her. A source said the following about Amy Winehouse’s connection to the island’s cuisine: “She often eats St. Lucian feasts courtesy of one of her favorite restaurants, The Pier at the Sandals Halcyon resort. She has had her friends make inquiries with some of the chefs at Sandals and some other restaurants on the island. That way, being back will not be too hard to deal with. One of Amy’s favorite things about St. Lucia is the food and she’d love to have that as a reminder of the island when she is back in the UK.” That must mean a big sigh of relief from everybody close to Amy Winehouse. I would’ve expected her to want to take the whole damned island with her and move it in the centre of London.

With a failed music career and barely there acting career, Jessica Simpson is ready to go back to her only success – reality TV. This time around, she and a friend are going around the country finding beautiful people and what makes them such. The show is called ‘Price of Beauty’ and it was spawned after Jessica’s weight troubles and her wish to expose true beauty beyond a waist band. A rep confirmed Jessica’s involvement in the project “but network details have not yet been finalized at this time.” I’m not sure she should do another reality show. I really think she should just drop off the face of the planet.
Beyonce believes she has found her Prince Charming in rapper husband Jay-Z, she has revealed.
The 27-year-old, who is performing her I Am… world tour, married Jay-Z, 39, last April.
Asked if she believes she has found her Prince Charming, she said: "Yes, absolutely. I do believe that love can last a lifetime. My parents have been married for 29 years and they’re still in love."
She added: "They’re my best example."
The couple are famous for their refusal to speak about their relationship. She said: "When I was younger, I loved reading about the lives of celebrities, so I understand the interest the media has in my life, but my husband and I prefer not to talk about our lives because that’s our way of protecting our relationship."
The singer also revealed she is planning to become a mum one day.
She added: "But being a woman is difficult because women are all naturally caring, so it’s hard to find the right balance between taking care of yourself and being there for the people that need you. That’s my biggest battle."

Mariah Carey looked a little ‘nippy’ as she jetted out of Los Angeles last night.
The braless star – dressed in a tight-fitting top and a black leather jacket – left little to the imagination as she passed through security checks on route to Turkey.
The singer will join up with Tom Jones in the country where they are to be paid a staggering $1.5 million each for a one-hour performance.
Jones, 68, and Carey, 39, will receive the whopping fee for the gig to open Europe’s most expensive hotel – the $1.4 billion Mardan Palace in Antalya, on the Turkish Riviera.
The hotel – created by Russian billionaire Telman Ismailov – contains 560 ultra-lavish rooms, including two ‘Royal Suites’ that cost $18,000 a night.
It is decorated with gold leaf and crystals and has a beach made from 9,000 tons of Egyptian sand.
With a fee like that, hopefully Mariah will be able to pick up some underwear soon!
Clay Aiken is turning on the hate towards American Idol. When he was asked how he felt on how the show went down this year, the singer made sure to hate on this season’s runner up Adam Lambert and every Idol winner for the last few years. He blogged “Now that it’s all over, and for the record…. I couldn’t be happier about the way AI ended this year… I happened to turn it during the minute that Adam Lambert was singing “Ring of Fire” and, at that moment, thought my ears would bleed. Contrived, awful, and slightly frightening! I wasn’t really a fan and found myself surprised whenever folks told me that they liked him… The show was different then, and folks made it in seasons 1-3 because they were “real” people who happened to sing/entertain well. But, somewhere along the way, AI stopped being about real people… And, at the same time, I think they voted AGAINST an American Idol that has, for four years now, been more about the slick productions and polished contestants than it has been about finding the raw talent that it did in its first three seasons.”
Beyonce has revealed she didn’t want to fight Ali Larter in their new film Obsessed as she had seen her action scenes in Heroes.
The 27-year-old stars as a woman whose husband is being stalked by a co-worker, played by Ali, 33.
Beyonce said: "At first, I wasn’t sure I wanted to do it."
She added: "I’ve seen Ali on Heroes and I was like: ‘I don’t think I want to be fighting her!’"
The pair are involved in a girl-on-girl fight scene and she admitted filming for the fight lasted for two days.
Beyonce said: "The pair of us were bruised from the bottom of our wrists up to the top of our shoulders."
She added: "It took a lot of choreography, a lot of planning. We went through certain things and we changed a lot of things. We didn’t want it to be too much of a cat fight."
She added: "So there’s not any hair-pulling. It’s a real brawl."
Pop sensation Lady GaGa has revealed that what turns her on in a man is simple.
The wacky singer confessed she prefers her boyfriends to be big in the trouser department as she continued to promote her Australian tour.
When asked by an Aussie interviewer what she likes in a man, the singer was deadpan: "A big dick. That’s it!"
She admitted any bloke who thinks he might be cut out for her has a chance but added that she is still single at the moment and that she was not even looking.
"I’m very happy with my solitude," she explained.
If men were intimidated by her, she did not appear fazed: "I suppose the ones that are intimidated don’t get very close."
Lady GaGa, in Australia to support the Pussycat Dolls on tour, said travelling the world was much higher on her list than motherhood. Marriage does not interest her and for now, she enjoys, "sleeping with really good-looking people".
"I meet lovely people but I’m not a promiscuous girl. I’m a free spirit. But I make love to my music every day. I’m just not focused on having a boyfriend. I think it distracts you," she said. "Every minute of my life is performance."

Katie Price will appear on British chat show Friday Night with Jonathan Ross to speak about her marriage split from hubby Peter Andre, it has been claimed.
It was recently revealed that Katie, 31, and husband Peter, 36, are separating after three-and-a-half years of marriage.
A spokesman for the production company that makes the show admitted the model will also be talking about her hopes for the future.
Pop star Peter, who has two young children with Price, has spoken out about the marriage split in his column in a British magazine.
He was recently seen taking kids Junior, three, and Princess Tiaamii, one, out on a trip while Katie was seen horse-riding.

A husband who accused his wife of having an affair with Bruce Springsteen hoped the rocker would pay "big money" to make the accusations go away, according to divorce papers.
Ann Kelly – whom hubby Arthur Kelly alleged was having an affair with the singer – claims he knew she was not romantically involved with The Boss.
But he made the "false" claim in their divorce in a bid to get a cash payment that would ‘humiliate’ and ‘harass’ his wife, and get him "media attention".
In divorce papers filed in New Jersey’s Ocean County Family Court, Ann Kelly, 44, said Arthur, 45, told her "he and his attorney felt there could be ‘big money’ in this… because, true or not, [Springsteen] would want this to ‘go away’".
She claimed Arthur has admitted to her that his only "proof" of her alleged dalliance is "the gossip and impressions of some women who attend the same gym" as Ann.
A US newspaper reports that several sources say Ann and Springsteen met while both worked out at the Atlantic Club in Red Bank in 2006. The two later took memberships at another nearby club to avoid scrutiny, sources told the paper.
Ann Kelly has denied an affair and wants a judge to dismiss her husband’s adultery claim, which she called "reckless" and "beyond all possible bounds of decency".
She also countersued Arthur for divorce, claiming extreme cruelty, irreconcilable differences, intentional infliction of emotional distress and frivolous litigation.

Simon Cowell was a "miserable little devil" who got kicked out of school, his old housemaster has revealed.
George Matthews, who looked after Cowell at the prestigious private school Dover College, said the global star was caught drinking and smoking and eventually got the boot in 1975 when he was 16. He got only two O-levels and had to re-sit his exams.
Mr Matthews said: "My first impressions of Simon were he was a miserable little devil. Simon refused to do anything that he didn’t want to do himself and he was quite successful at that.
"Simon was punished for smoking cigarettes, which were against the college laws, and he was punished by being suspended for drinking in a local pub. His great sin really was to be found out, which was the 11th commandment of all schoolboys."
Cowell grew up in the posh village of Elstree, in Hertfordshire.
His mum Julie Cowell said he was far from the model child. She admitted: "Difficult child I’d say yes, I’ve got to be honest, yes. Knew what he wanted and sent you barmy to try and get it. I was quite a strong mother but he was one of these children who absolutely made his mind up at a very early age, which is sometimes unusual."
American Idol winner Kris Allen has declared his stunning victory “the craziest thing ever”.
Kris partied after the finale at LA’s famous Mondrian Hotel along with second-placed Adam Lambert.
Also there were judges Paul Abdul, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi… but there was no sign of Simon Cowell.
Kris, 23, who was accompanied by his wife, Katy O’Connell Allen, said: "It’s the craziest thing ever. I’m so grateful. It’s awesome."
Adam, 27, said: “I’m just so happy for Kris. Just to be part of American Idol was a dream come true.”
Both finalists were photographed with scores of pretty girls and fans at the celebratory event, which went on until 1am.
Other celebrities there included David Hasselhoff and his teenage daughter Hayley, ex-model Janice Dickinson, and American Idol creator, Simon Fuller.
Victoria Beckham, a friend of Simon Fuller and Simon Cowell, was expected to show but didn’t.
Coldplay star Chris Martin has admitted pint-sized singer Lily Allen makes him feel like a schoolboy again when he meets her.
Martin, 33, who is married to actress Gwyneth Paltrow, said although she makes him nervous he thinks she is great.
He said: "Lily Allen is fantastic. She’s one of those people who is so cool that whenever I meet her I feel like I’m back at school and none of the girls like me any more. She has the ability to make any boy feel like a t****r."
Coldplay recently won an Ivor Novello award for Best Selling Song for track Viva La Vida, but the band are being sued after a singer claimed they stole the idea for the song.
Martin added: "Now we’ve got more to prove than ever. You think, well, if everyone is trying to take away our best song, then we’d better make 25 better ones."

Beth Ditto knows how to have a good time as The Gossip lead singer was recently in London promoting the band’s single, where she also attended several parties. Last week, the singer attended Mark Ronson’s DJ set for Trekstock charity at Proud Galleries. Then she was spotted with friends heading to Bungalow 8 later that same evening. If you were able to see some photos of her that night, it looks like Beth got smashed and trashed. Singer Leona Lewis has reportedly split with boyfriend Lou Al-Chamaa after her singing career got in the way of their relationship.
Leona, 24, has recently moved in to a new home in Los Angeles as she continues to crack America while electrician Lou is based in London.
A pal of the star said: "They are still in love, but Leona’s lifestyle is making things really hard. Her career is doing so well, but to keep growing as a singer, she has to work even harder."
The pal added: "Unfortunately, this leaves her very little time to work on her relationship. It could already be over."
Leona reportedly met Lou when they were both just ten years old but the relationship has come under strain since she won British talent show The X Factor in 2006.
The pal added: "It is sad, but unless Leona and Lou can find a magic solution, it looks like it could be the end of the road for them."

The 23-year-old star admitted she has never been to the Somerset festival in the UK but would like to in the future.
She said: "I love festivals, but my work means I don’t always get to go to them. My favourite is Coachella in California, because I’ve had the most fun there."
She added: "Paul McCartney headlined there this year. I’ve never made it to Glastonbury, but would love to one day. I’ve heard other festivals, like the Isle of Wight, are also pretty cool."
The former OC star revealed she doesn’t care about being glam at the events. She said: "Actually, I love to rough it! I like camping and going out into the country and stuff like that."
She added: "Having fun at a festival is all about roughing it!"
