Despite an impending custody and money battle, Debbie Rowe, Michael Jackson’s ex-wife did not attend the King of Pop’s memorial on Tuesday. Debbie’s camp claims that she and the singer were friends for almost two decades before they got married so it would make sense if she attended the ceremony. However, MSNBC announced a quote from Debbie on Monday that she will not attend the memorial because she didn’t want to take the attention away from Michael. She’s not that big of a name to draw any attention away from the music icon. Maybe she wasn’t even invited to begin with.
