Well, it’s good somebody finally came out and said it… too bad for Nelly Furtado her attack on Madonna really isn’t going to make that much of a difference. Still, it’s good to see that at least Nelly Furtado can just come out and say that she doesn’t like the fact that Madonna seems to not age: “I am not ready to adjust physically, just to be marketable. My sell-by date will run out eventually. Unlike Madonna, I wouldn’t be willing to do Pilates round the clock, just to slow down the deterioration of my body. I prefer to sit in the kitchen, drink tea and eat biscuits.” Isn’t Nelly Furtado aware of the fact that Madonna’s subjects would lose all faith if their goddess just started showing signs of being mortal? She’s only doing it so that her worshipers can be happy, it’s no act of selfishness.
