Gary Coleman’s agent Sheila Erickson has revealed the actor, who passed away last week after falling at his Utah home, did not think he had long to live.
“[Gary would] say to me all the time, ‘Sheila, take care of Shannon [Price, Coleman's wife]. Help Shannon to be successful’, because he knew he had less than a year left,” Radar Online reports Erickson saying.
“He didn’t know it would be so soon, but he knew he didn’t have a lot of time left. According to Gary that’s what he was told by the doctors because of all of his health issues.”
She also shared details about the Diff’rent Strokes star’s condition following his accident, saying the severity of his injuries was not immediately apparent.
“I don’t think they realised how severe it was at that moment. I mean, there was a lot of blood. But yet when Gary went to hospital Gary was fine. Gary sent Shannon several text messages … and I think there was a point when they realised it was more serious.”
On the decision to withdraw life support, Erickson said: “All these professional doctors are telling Shannon ‘It’s time, it’s time, Shannon’. I was there with Shannon the whole day on Friday and seeing Gary rest assured in my mind … I was able to say, ‘Yeah, there’s no hope.’ The professional doctors [were] telling Shannon, ‘Gary’s gone, Gary’s gone.’”

Actress Jada Pinkett Smith has posed nude for Essence magazine and revealed that her nine-year-old daughter loves the picture.
The 38-year-old actress – who stripped off for the US publication – told the magazine that when she showed the picture to her little girl Willow, the child said: “Mummy, you look so elegant.”
Pinkett Smith, who is married to movie star Will Smith, said she felt empowered by stripping off for the camera.
She said: “In all honesty, when I walked out there and disrobed, I felt like a queen… like there was nothing I couldn’t do.”
But the mum-of-two admitted that she originally wasn’t going to pose completely naked.
“I was wearing a really cute pair of taupe-coloured shorts and nothing else,” Pinkett Smith told Essence.
“And I thought, ‘This just looks like “scared”‘. Everything comes off, but the shorts? Fear is what communicates.”
She also tells the magazine, which is aimed at African-American women: “We can’t be afraid of our own sexuality or our own black skin.
“So I said, ‘Why not take these off?’”
The Baltimore-born actress is currently starring in the second series of her hit show HawthoRNe, which airs on US cable TV.

Tiger Woods’ wife Elin Nordegren is launching a battle for full custody of their two children.
The ex-model wants two-year-old Sam, and 19-month-old Charlie to live with her full-time.
According to Radaronline.com, the 31-year-old blonde still wants shamed Woods to be part of the kids’ lives – but will not let him have them half the time.
Up until now, the pair – whose five-year marriage was wrecked by Woods’ string of steamy affairs – have been civil in their dealings. But Elin’s gutsy decision could spark a legal war.
Nordegren and the disgraced golfer continue to live separate lives in mansions about a mile apart, in Windermere, near Orlando. Sources say they barely speak to each other.
“They share the children,” said an insider. “But the nannies drive the kids from house to house.
“Elin used to go to Tiger’s house but doesn’t any more. And she has her people communicate with him so she doesn’t have to.”
The Swedish beauty recently took their two children to her homeland, fuelling rumours that she may eventually settle there with the two toddlers. She and Woods had reportedly agreed to an informal joint custody deal, but the amicable arrangement has now changed.
“Elin isn’t saying she’s moving to Sweden but she wants full custody now,” said the source. “She has changed a lot since Tiger’s cheating was discovered and since he returned to golf, she’s distanced herself from him. It seems to have killed the small chance they had at reconciling.”

The eldest daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore has already followed in her parents’ footsteps and carved out a successful career in acting.
But she has admitted that she now wants to make it in music – inspired by her pop heroines Posh, Ginger, Baby, Sporty and Scary.
Speaking on the Bonnie Hunt Show in the US, she said, “As a kid we had Spice Girls kind of concerts in our house”, adding that she would pretend with sisters Scout and Tallulah that they were the British pop stars.
She said: “There’s some video of it – but I hope it never comes out!”
Talking about her dreams of becoming a singer, she said: “I would love to be able to do something like that, it would be a lot of fun.”
Willis also revealed that her musical ambition comes as she has stopped caring about what people think of her.
She said: “At the end of the day, you have to live your life and you can’t let other people’s opinions dictate how you feel about yourself.
“Because God forbid if I worried every time someone said I was having a bad hair day or I was wearing the wrong shoes, I’d be screwed!”
She added: “Not everyone is always going to like you, but you shouldn’t feel the need to change yourself to meet people’s expectations.”

Actress Jennifer Aniston’s neighbours called the police after they thought they heard a break-in.
The 41-year-old star, who was recently filming her new movie in Hawaii, was not at home at the time when her neighbours thought they heard voices from the property.
Cops quickly turned up at the scene but it turned out it was only a talking alarm system.
Police sources told TMZ they received a call from neighbours but the place was quickly checked out and it was found to be a false alarm.
Aniston has recently been filming new movie Just Go With It in Hawaii with co-stars Adam Sandler and Nicole Kidman.
