Now, another stage has collapsed during a Belgian music festival, injuring and killing fans in attendance. Jared Leto, whose band 30 Seconds to Mars was scheduled to perform, took to his Twitter to warn fans of the dangerous conditions at the show. The rock singer tweeted “CRAZY STORM AT PUKKELPOP IN BELGIUM – NOT SURE WE WILL BE ABLE TO GO ON STAGE – STAYED TUNED. SAFETY FIRST”, “FOUR STAGES DOWN – STILL RAINING + THUNDER IF YOU ARE HERE PLEASE BE SAFE”, and “SERIOUS INJURIES AT THE FESTIVAL. MORE BAD WEATHER POSS HEADING THIS WAY. PLEASE TAKE CARE AND CAUTION.” My thoughts go out to everyone who was affected by this tragic event.

Mitch Winehouse had hoped to launch a foundation to combat addiction in his daughter Amy Winehouse’s name. However, the name “The Amy Winehouse Foundation” has apparently already been registered by someone else so he’s had to put his plans on hold for the time being. Mitch said “Somebody else pinched it off of us before we could get it registered. All these donations which are coming in – we don’t know what to do with them at the moment. The plan is to help all children – not just rehabilitation, not just substance abuse. It’s to help all children in need.” Regardless what the official name will be, it’s a beautiful tribute to the late singer’s memory and I really hope that the money donated already will soon be put to good use.

A source close to the production said “It’s pretty emotive. It’s Kanye singing from the heart – with synthesizers.” The rapper plans to release it next month. This is going to be part touching and part rad as hell. If anyone can evoke raw emotion while using auto tune and synth, I think that’s Kanye. I’m sure Amy will be touched by his tribute to her.
