Taylor Swift will be receiving the highest honor at the Teen Choice Awards this coming August 7. The country singer has been announced to be awarded the Ultimate Choice Award for her contributions to the entertainment industry, especially her impact on the show’s audience – teenagers. I guess it’s easy to be given that award on those grounds considering that her music gives out messages that teens face during their everyday lives. Taylor joins the club which has Justin Timberlake, Reese Witherspoon and Sarah Michelle Gellar as previous awardees. Congratulations to Taylor! That’s one more award that she has to find a place for.

Amy Winehouse has long been rumored to be working on potential theme songs for the James Bond franchise, and although the music had originally been in the running for “Quantum of Solace”, it appears that now, one of the late singer’s unused vocal tracks will be mixed for the next installment. A source revealed “One of her songs used in the next film would be the perfect memorial to her – a way to remember Amy (as) we want her to be known for her talent and not her drugs addiction. [The tracks] were really a work in progress. [Amy] had laid down the vocals and had guitar and drums as an outline – it wouldn’t take much to tighten it up into a finished product.”

It looks like Adam Levine just made a bunch of new friends. The Maroon 5 lead singer seems to have a soft spot for the paparazzi, and he wants other celebrities to not get so angry about them. Adam said “It is a two-way street, and it is a two-way street in the (way) that you look at it. People want to be famous for some reason, for me, I wanted to be a successful singer, it had less to do with fame. If you’re going to be on television, if you’re going to be a singer, if you’re going to be an actor, there’s gonna be a lot of this that comes with it. A lot of people that start hating it, and when it starts consuming them and owning them, (most of the time) they brought it on themselves, sometimes that’s not the case, but to complain about it so passionately is irresponsible because there’s a lot of people with real problems. It’s nothing more than a pain in the a**. They don’t bother me, they don’t stalk me, they don’t stay outside of my house or anything.” Do you agree or disagree with Adam?
