Charlize Theron has admitted that she spent her school years doing ‘crazy’ things to be part of the in-crowd. The 36-year-old actress said that her ‘nerdy’ look didn’t really help attract any boyfriends or friends, leaving her longing to be popular. “I wore really nerdy glasses because I was blind as could be and the boys didn’t like [me],” she told People magazine. “I didn’t have any boyfriends, but lots of crushes. “I wasn’t in the popular crowd. There was a really popular girl at school and I was obsessed with her. I mean you would go to jail for that stuff today,” she laughed. “I was in tears one day because I couldn’t sit next to her.” “I actually got a lot of the mean girl stuff from the ages of seven to 12,” she continued. “I was pretty much a mess in primary school. But I got that out of my system by the time I got to high school and was more immune to all of that stuff.”

Actress Chloe Moretz has revealed her mum won’t let her buy expensive clothes. The 14-year-old often wears high fashion clothes in appearances on the red carpet but in real life she says she only wears items from the high street. She told ASOS magazine: “My mum won’t let me buy high-fashion stuff unless it’s TK Maxx or a birthday occasion. “I love going to Topshop, Urban Outfitters and American Apparel, I’m in love with their jackets.” But Chloe’s mum will make an exception for footwear – and she says she has purchased a lot of Rubert Sanderson heels. She added: “The one thing my mum will let me get is a nice shoe sometimes. “I have so many shoes by that label. They’re not ridiculously comfortable to wear but they are the most beautiful.”

Twilight fans can have their very own fairytale wedding next year when Carolina Herrera’s CHNY boutiques start selling dresses in the same design worn by Kristen Stewart’s Bella Swan character in Breaking Dawn – Part One, it was announced on Monday. The long-sleeved white wedding gown was specially designed for 21-year-old Kristen. Carolina said on the red carpet last week: “I wanted to create a magical moment that they had at the wedding.” It has not yet known how many gowns will be created, or how much they will be sold for. Bridal dress company Alfred Angelo is already selling official replicas for $799.

Megan Fox has revealed that she’s ’so over’ her Marilyn Monroe tattoo. The actress is currently part way through having the artwork removed from her inner right arm, and said that she’s gone off it over the years. “I’m just over it,” she told People magazine. “You outgrow things that you love when you were a child. I got it when I was 18 and now I’m 25 and it just doesn’t make sense anymore.” Although opting to have it removed certainly wasn’t a painless decision. “It’s a hundred times worse than the tattoo itself,” she said of the process. “I’ve only done one [session] so I probably have three or four left. “I think it will come off completely because I have the right skin type to remove ink. The more fair skinned you are the easier it is to remove dark ink, and I’m as fair as it gets.”

The stars of The Twilight Saga film series have been immortalised in cement in the forecourt of the legendary Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner appeared together for the ceremony, held days before the release of the fourth instalment of the franchise The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1. Fans of the vampire film series began gathering overnight for the 10am ceremony, which was hosted by late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel. As he put his handprints in cement, Robert Pattinson told the waiting fans: “This is just an incredible honour.” Lautner added: “There are a few moments that mean so much, it’s really even hard to explain, and this is definitely one of those.”

Kim KardashianNovember 1st, 2011

Khloe Kardashian has revealed that she only signed up to star in Keeping Up With The Kardashians because she wanted to promote their clothes store. Khloe and her sisters Kim and Kourtney were working flat out in their DASH shop before the show launched four years ago, and she admitted that she only said yes because it would be good for business. “We were the sole employees six days a week and never had help for three-and-a-half years,” she explained to the Daily Telegraph. “We were content working in retail. It took some convincing to agree to be filmed, but we could see some benefits. But we never thought it would be as big as it is.” Kim added that they have their late father Robert, who died of cancer in 2003, to thank for their love of hard work. “Our dad had a really strong work ethic and taught us, you know, to take a job seriously and do our best. We take his work ethic into all our businesses,” she said.
