Former Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona has shut down her Twitter page after reportedly receiving hate messages that included "You should have died instead of Jade Goody."
Another tweet called her a "crack whore", the Daily Star said.
The paper claims her following was 5000 strong and that before shutting down the page, Katona took the comments in her stride.
She even replied to one of the offensive messages, tweeting: "It’s really sad you get pleasure from making rude comments and being a sicko. So mean, you don’t no me. Stop harassing innocent women."
Katona is the ex-wife of Brian McFadden, who is now engaged to Australian singer and cancer survivor Delta Goodrem.
