Last night Whitney took to the stage at Clive Davis’ annual pre-Grammy bash and amazed the audience with a medley of hits. She looked stunning and has proved to all who heard her that she she is still one of the most premiere female singers in the world.

Davis received a Lifetime Achievement award from the Grammys as an Industry Icon. The gala dinner event was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel ballroom. The recording academy helped sponsor this year’s dinner which showcases the cream of the crop the record industry offers to a celebrity studded crowd.
Some of the featured performers were:
Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Clarkson, Leona Lewis, as well as Rod Stewart, Barry Manilow, rockers Kings of Leon, and Sean Puffy Combs featuring Faith Evans. Usher had to cancel at the last moment due to a ‘family injury’ which other news outlets are reporting might be his wife who was having plastic surgery in Brazil and has developed complications. Usher was replaced by Josh Groban.
American Idol stars who were also there in addition to Jennifer Hudson were:
Fantasia, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Chris Daughtry, and Taylor Swift

Kanye gave a gracious speech which took everyone by surprise. He basically apologized for his past behavior and arrogance, and praised both Katy Perry and will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas and ended his remarks by saying, “I’m humbled.”
Jessica Simpson stuck out her tongue to the audience as she performed a multi-song set during the “99.9 KISS Country Chili Cook Off” today at CB Smith Park on Flamingo Road in Pembroke Pines, Florida.
Chili Cook Off fans were entertained by country singers performing and Jessica sang her little heart out along with Alan Jackson, Jason Aldean, Justin Moore, and Little Big Town.
I’m not loving the tongue shot, but I am loving her double leopard print belt, although if I do say so myself, she is at an embarrassingly low grade event to wear such a stylish accessory!
Check out Rihanna’s new tattoo on her right wrist. I think this latest addition makes for a grand total of 11 of them now. She showed it off at a party sponsored by Gucci called the Tattoo Heart Collection to Benefit UNICEF at NYC’s Plaza Hotel on Wednesday. Chris Brown has a matching one. Both also have matching clusters of stars on their necks.
She got the Maori-inspired geometric design in New Zealand saying:
“It’s tribal. It represents strength and love. It’s their traditional way of tattooing. I always wanted [one]… [But] it hurt like hell!”
It looks like she is also wearing the Cartier love handcuff bracelet, the one where you give the key to your partner and they have to unlock it to take it off. How romantic.
Something about this picture of him dressed in fur and the picture that he did for the same issue with his little babytwin girls sitting dressed only in black bow-ties seem all sorts of wrong.
Diddy has just bought out the popular urban-brand ENYCE. Market Watch.com had the details on the endeavour. Here is a statement:

I couldn’t help but laugh when I saw these pictures of P Diddy steppin’ in a mound of poo on the sidewalk in New York. Check out that pose! Wonder if his bodyguard gets his walking papers although really, P should watch where he’s going instead of sticking his nose up in the air and posing for pictures.
His stylist must have spent hours putting his outfit together although I do find it a disrespectful fashion statement wearing a rosary around his neck. We’d never see him on his knees with one in his hand praying.

Madonna was sporting some major bling as she went to tape 106 & Park in NYC yesterday. She is really doing her thing in order to promote her record. She has been spotted everywhere recently. She was probably feeling undercut by Miley’s swarm of attention about the whole Vanity Fare shoot. Madge probably wishes she could get that much attention for a scandalous shot!
Britney’s stay at UCLA Medical Center’s psych ward is actually going to be extended. It is really what Brit needs, a long extended stay away from the paparazzi that she so desperately loves. In other Britney news, apparently stuff from her house was stolen after she was admitted to UCLA. I bet Sam Lutfi was freaking out and jacked some stuff to sell on ebay. If it wasn’t him, it could have been anyone that Britney randomly let into her house including Adnan. She was known for bringing randoms back there and if anyone would steal anything it would probably be them.
K-Fed filed an application in LA Superior Court Tuesday asking for Britney to pay his attorney fees, which currently are a whopping 160,000.
The self-employed artist apparently “does not earn any income” other than the 20 grand a month he gets in spousal support from her.
There are provisions in family law that state if one party makes substantially more than the other party, then the higher income party may be held responsible for the costs of legal representation of the lower income earning one.
Britney was ordered to show him the money – $120,000 of his legal fees.
Diddy decided to show some support for the Spice Girls reunion tour. Their tour beings in Los Angeles in December. Diddy has decided that the Spice Girls need complete but stylish protection for when they go on tour. He has design bullet-proof buses covered in jewels a Source said : “He wants the girls to go in style and he knows how to do that.”
Seems like Diddy has a crush onthe Spice Girls, what guy gives 5 girls 8 million in order to have them ride in style! I thought Hilary’s boyfriend was being sweet by buying her an SUV!
I guess things are getting quite serious for Hilary Duff. Her boyfriend decided it would be a nice idea to get her a brand new Mercedes SUV for her 20th birthday! I wonder if she has slept with him yet! We knew she was a good girl for three years with Joel Madden, but this boy is definitely putting the moves on!

It is nice to see that Hilary is getting treated right! Mike Comrie seems like the kind of guy Hilary needs. We have to remember that Hilary is absolutely freaking LOADED so anything under a 100k for a bday present wouldn’t be acceptable unless it was super romantic like a trip to Italy in a private jet for ‘coffee’. She probably spends that much money daily on clothes for her and her dog!
Britney has just spent 9.5 million on a new home! It comes with 7 bedooms, 6 bathrooms, a master suite with two bathrooms, walk-in closets, numerous fire places, a spa, pool, and wine cellar all for the low price of $9.5 million. Oh and it’s over 5 acres of prime real estate in Malibu! Seriously why does she need 6 bathrooms?! I can see need for spa/pool and of course a wine cellar since Brit loves her margaritas! I think we always forget that Britney is not crazy but eccentric. She can basically do whatever the hell she wants since she makes 3/4 of a million dollars a month!
Holy! Look at the size of Victoria Beckham’s blinged out ring! It is HUGE, I wonder how much something like that costs. I don’t really want to even know, but if you happen to know leave me a comment!
The Beckham’s have been taking America by storm, they caused a riot outside Toys R Us and just in general seems like paparazzi have been snapping photos like crazy! I think they are going to learn to love it in America if they already don’t!
