Rapper DMX, real name, Earl Simmons is sitting in jail waiting to be sentenced for theft, drug convictions and animal cruelty. The rapper who made millions from sales of his records as well as earned big bucks playing roles in several movies, now has his valley home in foreclosure.

Andrew Wheeler, the agent who is selling the shell of the once former prestigious home on behalf of the bank had this to say:

“It’s very nerve-racking, sometimes I think he’ll just show up, this was probably his pride and joy.”

A SWAT team raided the home last May and it’s now in shambles. The carpet and tiles are charred as well as doors and windows damaged and blown out. The raid left the house unsecured which allowed thieves to rob the place and toss things into the pool.

Wheeler said:

“I think people showed up, walked the house and took what they wanted.”

The panoramic views from the property are the primary selling feature, the same feature DMX in his reality show said as to why he bought the place .

DMX paid around 600k for the property back in 2003, and it is now listed for the bank set sale of $429k.

DMX was arrested at the Palm Island home of record producer Scott Storch who also had a warrant for his arrest this year.

Scott’s Palm Island mansion was foreclosed on in July. Supposedly a woman in Georgia tipped off the Maricopa County Sheriff’s office to DMX’s whereabouts after hearing of a reward. $5,000 was offered for any info that would lead to the rapper’s capture… which must be why the woman did her civic duty… times are tough, she needed the cash.

Scott’s warrant was issued earlier this year after he was a no-show at his child-support hearing.

DMX is a wanted man.

A Maricopa County judge issued a bench warrant for the rapper’s arrest earlier today after D did not show up to a scheduled court appearance in Arizona to face drug, identity theft and animal cruelty charges.

The judge has ruled he must post a $120,000 cash bond because if he doesn’t, he’ll be jailed.

DMX’s lawyer in Florida, Bradford Cohen, told TMZ that he believes DMX is currently in rehab at an undisclosed location. Cohen also said that D should have shown the judge documentation proving his rehab stay during his court appearance today, but apparently that didn’t happen.

Word is that D was not in rehab as of last weekend. He was apparently seen at Club LivingRoom in downtown Ft.Lauderdale !

DMX pleaded not guilty to a pair of felony theft charges in a Phoenix court on Thursday, and then performed an impromptu rap for the reporters and paparazzi waiting outside.

DMX, whose birth name is Earl Simmons, was charged with one count of theft and one count of taking someone else’s identity.

The charges came about after a visit Simmons made to the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona, in April when he gave his name as “Troy Jones,” allegedly to avoid paying for treatment.

Here’s the lil rap he serenaded the reporters with:

“If and when you ever fall down, get back up,” Simmons began, according to a censored recording on a local radio station’s Web site.

“Drop something, stop fretting, pick that … back up, stand for something or fall for everything, wait for the right pitch or miss with every swing,”

He is scheduled to appear back in court on August 12.

He has gotten himself into a tangle of legal messes recently. In May, he was arrested on suspicion of animal cruelty and drug possession after his home was searched and cops allegedly found dog carcasses, abused pit bulls drugs and weapons.

He served more than two months at New York’s Rikers Island jail in 2006 in connection with a 2004 incident when he smashed his SUV into a gate at John F. Kennedy Airport after identifying himself as a federal agent.

His first five albums opened at No. 1 on the U.S. pop album charts, but his most recent release, 2006’s “Year of the Dog … Again,” ended that run by debuting at No. 2. Simmons has also acted in several action movies, including “Cradle 2 The Grave” and “Exit Wounds.”
