This is a great day for trained chimps everywhere… it seems that Lindsay Lohan is doing pretty well with her probation, this tine around. The multi-talented artists has already passed two drug tests which means she’s a lot cleaner than most might have expected her to be. Even her father, Michael Lohan, had this to say of Lindsay Lohan’s performance: “I am happy for her. She’s on the straight and narrow. I hope it continues.” Perhaps even Lindsay Lohan is hoping that it will continue and if she does her best, it might just happen. Everybody’s counting on her now!

Corey Haim acquired hundreds of prescription drugs including painkiller Vicodin in the weeks before his death.
California attorney-general Jerry Brown said The Lost Boys actor Haim, who died on March 10 at the age of 38, purchased 550 doses of prescription drugs, ABC Australia reports.
Authorities are yet to announce an official cause of death for the Canadian child star whose death near Burbank was provisionally laid to a drug overdose.
Haim, according to a report from the state Bureau of Narcotic Enforcement, bought 195 doses of the anti-anxiety drug Valium, 194 doses of the muscle relaxant Soma, 149 doses of Vicodin and 15 Xanax anti-anxiety pills between February 2 and March 5.
Brown said: “In a period of 32 days, Corey Haim obtained at least 553 doses of potentially dangerous prescription drugs. It’s important for people to understand that legal, prescribed drugs can be just as dangerous as street drugs and doctor-shopping can be deadly.”
Brown, who is running for California governor, said an investigation in the San Diego area turned up a ring of suppliers of illegal prescriptions. Stolen prescription pads from unknowing doctors are part of the ruse.

The singer has yet again astounded with her profound knowledge on all aspects of existence… especially existence itself. It seems that Lily Allen believes that life is all about drugs and booze. Here are her exact words: “Why the hell would you give up booze? No drinking until Christmas, yeah right? Drink and class A drugs – that’s what life’s all about.” Wouldn’t she like… get arrested for that? Well, hopefully for Lily Allen Stephen Lynch isn’t reading this one because he’d probably jump right into his Drug-free boy costume and pursue burning her alive. She was probably stoned when she said it though, so perhaps it is forgivable… perhaps.
The singer turned actress who is allegedly addicted to prescription drugs, or so her father claims, is in yet another pickle as Michael Lohan now says he knows who Lindsay Lohan’s provider is: This guy follows Lindsay all over the place. All over. Lindsay pays for him to go everywhere. He has no job. He does nothing. All he does is supply everyone in Los Angeles.” How can he be doing nothing if he supplies all of LA? That’s hardly an easy task… actually, Lindsay Lohan’s father should be proud his daughter seems to have managed to apparently have snagged such a busy bee.
Amy Winehouse has filed a lawsuit against her former mother-in-law for selling one of her love letters addressed to her son, Blake Fielder-Civil. The letter was said to be written while he was serving time for assault and perverting justice and his mother, Georgette, intercepted it. The singer is suing for copyright infringement and £50,000 compensation. I guess that’s what would qualify as sweet revenge as Georgette has previously accused Wino for Blake’s drug habit. Here’s to hoping that Wino will have enough smarts in her to not want to deal with that family ever again. Divorce, jail and rehab should be enough reasons.
Michael Jackson’s time of death is being questioned as the time of the 911 call placed by the King of Pop’s live in doctor, Dr. Conrad Murray, doesn’t match up with several instances. The call came in at 12:21 PM on the day of the singer’s death. The doctor said that he discovered Michael in distress a half hour before. That leaves people questioning why Dr. Murray’s employees made a sudden trip to his storage facility in Houston, where two women left with 3 to 5 boxes, at 9:22 AM Los Angeles time. Could Michael have been found lifeless hours before the 911 call?
Authorities have raided the Houston office of Michael Jackson’s doctor, Conrad Murray.
Federal drug agents and Los Angeles police detectives arrived in a convoy of 15 cars at the Texas office, shortly after 10.20am local time this morning.
More than two dozen agents were seen on the scene at the Montgomery Road address.
Murray’s office, which is located at the Armstrong Medical Clinic, is owned by a doctor whose Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) licence to prescribe drugs was revoked in 2005, for "over prescribing", according to officials.
Law-enforcement sources told US television network ABC that agents had obtained a search warrant for this morning’s raid, based on the preliminary results of Jackson’s autopsy, which showed the singer’s cause of death was linked to the powerful anaesthetic, Propofol.
Dr Murray – Jacko’s personal physician – has previously been quizzed twice by police and federal agents.
After the raid began, a spokesperson for Murray told ABC News, "Dr Murray’s legal team is looking into the matter. [There is] no other comment at this time."
Murray was the last doctor to see Jackson before he died, and federal agents want to know if he administered the fatal dose of Propofol, which is normally only used in hospital operating rooms.
Murray and his lawyer, Ed Chernoff, have refused to answer questions about whether the doctor administered the powerful drug to Jackson.
Jackson, 50, died at his rented Los Angeles mansion, on 25 June, after suffering cardiac arrest.

Photos of Michael Jackson have recently surfaced, showing a serious injury on the late King of Pop’s right leg. The photo, which was taken in 2002, shows an injury that may have resulted from contact with a “highly caustic, acidic fluid” which would damage the skin and cause it to turn black. An expert told ABC News “On the photographs of Michael Jackson, it looks like there was necrosis on his lower leg where there might have been fluid that went into his lower leg. It looks like there are multiple puncture points from IV placement… If, in fact, he had an IV here, and the IV fluid, which may have been acidic fluid, went into his skin, it might have, in fact, destroyed the skin. That’s all dead skin that would then make an ulceration underneath that skin.” This new piece of evidence just adds fuel to the fire that the singer had a serious drug addiction.
According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Michael Jackson did not just rely on his regular doctors for drugs but he made his way around several dental offices too. The singer would apparently adept in shopping for doctors. In 2003, the late King of Pop summoned a doctor to his suite at the Las Vegas Mirage because he was told that Michael suffered from a cough and sore throat. The physician said “The whole thing was staged. It was all a lie. They just wanted drugs. They wanted me to call in all these pills under someone else’s name.” When the doctor refused the prescription, Michael’s handler would use intimidation to get what the singer wanted.
Michael Jackson’s death certificate reveals that the cause of death has been listed as “deferred” as investigators continue to test the singer’s brain. Regarding the ongoing neuropathology testing, assistant chief coroner Ed Winter said “As soon as we are done with the brain, we will return it. There is a whole series of tests that will be done.” Winter also claims that many families delay burying their loved ones until the brain has been returned. Perhaps this is the reason why the death certificate doesn’t state where the late King of Pop will be buried. There’s still no information where the final resting place of the singer will be.
Since the pop legend’s death has a great deal to do with all of the prescription drugs he was taking… or so the main speculation is, it seems that the DEA has now become involved in the investigations regarding his death. This is a statement released by them in regard to Michael Jackson’s death and their work with the LAPD in solving the case: “We routinely offer assistance to any agency regarding the Federal Controlled Substance act, however at this time we have nothing further to comment about the death of Michael Jackson.” Gee, I have to wonder what new and exciting stories will spring up this time since the DEA is involved. What new secrets will we learn about Michael Jackson’s life?
Reports from the Caribbean isle where Amy has been relaxing and vacationing while trying to recover from her heroin and crack cocaine addiction told reporters that she had been drinking heavily.
One person said:
“She looked in a terrible state, a shaking mess. The people with her were very concerned.”
Amy’s spokesperson has confirmed she was admitted and said the reason for her collapse is that she had run out of a drug replacement she has been using.
Amy is recovering well and should be discharged from the hospital soon although if she is still blazing and drinking, her long term chances of getting clean are very low. Getting an opiate addict like her through the withdrawals with medical supervision is the relatively easy part. Keeping her clean in the long run is the challenging part and that is where the replacement drug, possibly Suboxone (if that is what she was on when she ran out), is used. Biochemical changes in the brain persist for quite some time after withdrawals are over. Severe depression is common for 6 – 12 months, which often results in a high relapse rate.
Replacement meds like Suboxone are given for the length of time it takes the brain to eradicate the neural connections that were created by the habit of taking the drug. After the brain unlearns those habits, the addict can safely be withdrawn off Suboxone and have a real chance of staying opiate free.
Osama Lutfi, Brit’s former manager who just had a restraining order filed against him by her the other day has filed a lawsuit of his own today. He is suing Britney and her parents, Jamie & Lynne Spears for defamation.
All the claims of libel and defamation are from what was written in mama Lynne Spear’s book, “Through the Storm.” Lutfi says since the book came out, he:
“has been subjected to unfathomable amounts of ridicule and public scorn.”
Lutfi is also stating that Britney broke a contract with him and owes him unpaid management fees. He claims he had an oral agreement with Brit to manage her for 4 years while earning 15% commission. What were his management credentials anyways? Instead of a written contract, does he think an “oral agreement” with someone who was legally determined incapable of handling her own affairs is legally binding?
Lutfi’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, gave the following statement to PerezHilton.com:
“This lawsuit is being brought as a result of the defamation, ridicule and harassment of Sam Lutfi by Jamie Spears and Lynne Spears. A thorough investigation has revealed overwhelming evidence from independent witnesses, showing that Lynne Spears knowingly and maliciously publicized devastating false information about Lutfi which destroyed his reputation, irreparably harmed his career, and subjected him to constant scorn and humiliation.
At the time of the trial in this action, the jury will have an opportunity to weigh the credibility of the witnesses. In doing so, it will be faced with two threshold questions: Why would a supposedly loving mother write a tell all book about the sordid details of two of the most devastating nights of her daughter’s life and go on countless talk shows for her own profit? And why would a loving father who deems his daughter to be incompetent, thrust her into a massive world tour only to subject her to the very limelight that threatened to shatter her life, for something other than his own personal gain?
The facts of this case will reveal Jamie and Lynne’s conduct in light of these questions. It will unequivocally explain the motivation of two people who are seemingly willing to destroy anyone and anything that gets in the way of their ability to control and profit from their daughter. Through this action, the truth about Jamie, Lynne and their relentless desire to control Britney Spears and her fortune will be revealed.”
I still can’t get over that Lufti called in to a radio station to talk about her and he made comments about walking in on Spears while she was nude!
It’s so very disturbing that while Lufti was acting as Britney’s manager, he didn’t obtain “help” for his mentally ill “client”. He would hide her dog and make her search for it, he removed the batteries from her cell phone and her cars so others couldn’t contact her, he admitted to administering medicine to her, and he allegedly stole artwork from the home when he left.
The guy seems dangerous. Very dangerous. I can see him losing this court case and then writing a tell-all book.
Rapper DMX, real name, Earl Simmons is sitting in jail waiting to be sentenced for theft, drug convictions and animal cruelty. The rapper who made millions from sales of his records as well as earned big bucks playing roles in several movies, now has his valley home in foreclosure.
Andrew Wheeler, the agent who is selling the shell of the once former prestigious home on behalf of the bank had this to say:
“It’s very nerve-racking, sometimes I think he’ll just show up, this was probably his pride and joy.”
A SWAT team raided the home last May and it’s now in shambles. The carpet and tiles are charred as well as doors and windows damaged and blown out. The raid left the house unsecured which allowed thieves to rob the place and toss things into the pool.
Wheeler said:
“I think people showed up, walked the house and took what they wanted.”
The panoramic views from the property are the primary selling feature, the same feature DMX in his reality show said as to why he bought the place .
DMX paid around 600k for the property back in 2003, and it is now listed for the bank set sale of $429k.
The News of the World reported recently that Amy’s Blaaake told them that he’s leaving her to save her life and was not going to be asking for any money.
Well… it seems that he’s changed his mind about not wanting some of her millions and is now planning on cashing in. A friend told the NOTW that Blaaake was not being truthful, and that he really wants £1 million and has threatened her management people that if he doesn’t get what he wants, he’s going to write a tell-all.
Not sure what secrets Blaaake has to reveal since we’ve all seen and read so much on her as it is, what new scandalous info could he have on her?
Blaaake’s mum Georgette, has said publicly that Amy’s father Mitch already offered her son £50,000 to go through with a divorce. She said:
“Mitch’s £50,000 offer was an insult. Amy’s worth £10 million and Blake’s her husband. He’s entitled to at least £3 million after all he’s been through with her.’”
After all he’s been through? He’s the one saying he blames himself for Amy’s decline, as he was the one who turned her onto the hard stuff! From what I gather, he’s been in jail throughout their marriage. Amy should have filed charges against him for turning her into a crack ho.
Both he and his mum have hit a new low in the ‘cheek’ department. Shame on them both. A decent parent would be ashamed and embarrassed of a son like him. A decent parent would not be encouraging their misbehaving ‘child’ and giving statements to the press. Then again… she did raise him which means her ‘decent’ parenting skillz are obviously lacking!
DMX is a wanted man.
A Maricopa County judge issued a bench warrant for the rapper’s arrest earlier today after D did not show up to a scheduled court appearance in Arizona to face drug, identity theft and animal cruelty charges.
The judge has ruled he must post a $120,000 cash bond because if he doesn’t, he’ll be jailed.
DMX’s lawyer in Florida, Bradford Cohen, told TMZ that he believes DMX is currently in rehab at an undisclosed location. Cohen also said that D should have shown the judge documentation proving his rehab stay during his court appearance today, but apparently that didn’t happen.
Word is that D was not in rehab as of last weekend. He was apparently seen at Club LivingRoom in downtown Ft.Lauderdale !
Blaaaake made a court appearance today to ask the judge to appeal his 27 month sentence. He has served 9 months in jail and was recently released to get treatment for his crack addiction at a rehab clinic. His request was denied by two judges. Blake said he was:
“disappointed but not really surprised.”
Meanwhile,The News of the World, is reporting that Amy Winehouse is telling friends that her marriage to Blaaake is finished because he left her for a blonde German model named Sophie Schandorff. She reportedly told friends:
“It’s over. There’s no way back for us now. It was never going to last. We were only together for sex. I fancied him like mad, like no one else I’ve ever known. But it’s not enough, is it?”
Interesting how he’s been in jail for months, now rehab and he’s managed to fall in love with a model! He must be quite charming.
There’s something so sad about looking at Amy’s Blaaake standing here all by himself wearing his ankle bracelet and then seeing his wife kissing some guy’s knuckle in the picture below. He’s in the Lifeworks Clinic undergoing a 7 week treatment course and she’s out doing what she loves to do… party.
Blaake’s mum has said she is worried about about her son’s return to Winehouse’s world and that his family are desperate for him to stay with them at their Lincolnshire home.
Georgette Civil said this past July:
‘Giving him and Amy another chance is like putting a gun to Blake’s head while playing Russian roulette. If he goes it could be a death sentence for the two of them.’
Well from the looks of this picture she doesn’t seem to be that interested in going to see her Blaake, kissing that guy’s knuckles is where she’d rather be. Such oddness!
Here is Amy’s hubby Blaaake just out of prison posing for pictures and talking to the press. As he was released from jail, he told The Sun:
“It’s tough inside — bloody horrible, but I’m out and that’s all that matters. It’s brilliant. I’m gonna get myself sorted. I’m gonna get my life back. I’m gonna see my wife and take her knickers down.”
Hmmm, “take her knickers down”? What a classy thing to say, although that image is all sorts of wrong. There is nothing hot about those two having sexy times together.
Under the terms of his release, Blake has checked into a rehab facility in Surrey. He will have to complete the program before he’s reunited with Amy. His attorney told a court in July that his client was addicted to drugs and was determined to recover.
Hopefully, he does behave and stays sober, although I have my doubts.
Blake Fielder-Civil, Amy Winehouse’s husband has just been released from Pentonville Prison in Suffolk today equipped with an electronic monitor. He had been incarcerated for almost a year. As part of his probation, he then went and checked into Lifeworks, a rehab clinic where he needs to complete a programe.
His reunion with his beloved Amy, will be delayed as she has been in The London Clinic being treated for a chest infection. I’m disappointed, I was so hoping for a cracktastic reunion between the two.
As well as the mandatory drug counseling, British police made him “promise to behave” and to “stay out of trouble.”
