Joe Simpson, father of Jessica Simpson, apparently had a little chat with John Mayer who’s been saying a lot of not so cool stuff about a few people. Apparently, Jessica Simpson’s dad told John Mayer that he might want to revisit some of his previous statements… before they come back and bite him here and there. This is what a source related on the matter: “The conversation was pretty one-sided. Joe told John that he best not even think of uttering Jessica’s name again. Joe told John to stay away from his family and man-up and apologize for his comments.” And just when John Mayer was beginning to have fun…. leave it to the grown-ups to ruin everything. Oh well, there will always be twitter for John Mayer to play with.
It seems that John Mayer can no longer handle his showbiz persona especially after his recent Playboy interview. The singer apparently broke-down on stage last night because of it. He apologized to his band mates and the crowd though: “I quit the media game. I’m out. I’m done. I just want to play my guitar. I fell into a wormhole of selfishness, greediness and arrogance. In the quest to be clever, forgot about the people who love me and that I love.” What could’ve happened to the poor boy? Did Jennifer Aniston call to tell him he was a bad man? Certainly nothing John Mayer hasn’t heard before. Or maybe his racist comments in the interview might be catching up with him legally and he wants some form of redemption.
John Mayer may be a douche bag most of the time but the singer recently proved that he’s not all bad. John recently performed a free concert for fans from the University of South Carolina on Tuesday night. The singer, who has been rehearsing for his upcoming tour in downtown Columbia, decided to treat the fans who had reportedly been camping out outside of his rehearsal space every night. Hours before the show, John went on Twitter to say “USC students: come watch us run the show tonight. Free.” 500 fans were treated to a preview of John’s set for his upcoming world tour.
The singer whose popularity with the ladies is out of this world, or so he seems to believe, recently admitted that he is not over his former girlfriend, Jennifer Aniston. This is what John Mayer said on the matter: “I’ve never really gotten over it. It was one of the worst times of my life. I have this weird feeling, a pride thing, for the people I’ve had relationships with. What would I be saying to Jen, who I think is fucking fantastic, if I said to her, ‘I don’t dislike you. In fact, I extremely like you. But I have to back out of this because it doesn’t arc over the horizon. This is not where I see myself for the rest of my life, this is not my ideal destiny.’” Oh, such big words for a guy who lost his girlfriend because he was spending too much time with his computer instead of her. But hey, maybe that’ the destiny John Mayer had planned for himself all along.
Poor little boy, he seems to be having nothing but trouble in that department these days. Recently, John Mayer had a very interesting tweet for his fans in regards to his lady issues: “I’ve got two women texting me they want to come over. What’s that, Modern Warfare 2? You understand me? Done. Night, ladies!” As the ancient philosophers say: what goes around, comes around… after John Mayer spent the bulk of his youth chasing after the famous women of our times, now it’s his turn to give a little something back seeing as now his name is also quite the bell ringer. Moreover, it appears even Lindsay Lohan has taken a shine to him, but she was probably just under the influence of some leftover holiday wine, especially when you read the message she sent him on tweeter: “@johncmayer shhhhhhhhhhhhhh butter-face .” John Mayer had better watch it with this one… there’s no telling what might happen.
The singer who performed at the Michael Jackson memorial decided to stick only to the instrumental part of the pop legend’s song, “Human nature”, as to not be compared to the singer. John Mayer said the following about his decision: “The decision not to sing came from knowing what’s best for me. I think it’s a mine field to try in any way to replicate vocally what Michael Jackson has done. And in a way, it was sort of respectfully leaving an absence, you know, sort of the presence of his absence.” Indeed, the presence of his absence… yes, John Mayer makes a very interesting logical point here. It must be from all that twittering that John Mayer has got so good at his speeches.
It seems that the widow of the late Beatles singer, John Lennon, has recently won the copyright to some very valuable photos of her husband and his family. Moreover, it seems that Yoko Ono intends to keep the material private and has even refused to comment on her recent victory. Business must be going good, those pictures are probably worth a fortune. But hey, family intimacy is priceless, right? Or at least so everybody claims until the tax collectors come a’ knocking. How ironic it would be for the pictures to leak on the internet for some particular reason or some unhappy loser of some particular trial.
The singer apparently posted a rather intriguing message on twitter lately. Here’s what John Mayer wrote: “Last year P!nk kneed me in the nuts outside Chateau Marmont. I was puking blood for days. Did I make a scene?” Apparently, Pink doesn’t really like John Mayer very much, as she related some time ago: “I got into an argument with him. I don’t believe him as much as he believes him. He said something along the lines of, ‘I only shag really stupid women.’ And I said, ‘I guess they would have to be.’ I don’t get him at all.” Right… why would Pink get offended by that? And moreover, why would John Mayer feel the need to open up about what happened now of all times? The man must be running
Um, Pete Wentz asked John to be his baby’s godfather. How crazy is that… you think they wouldn’t even go there after he broke Jessica’s heart. I think it would be pretty disrespectful if they did. I guess we will have to wait and see. I am not a fan of his new shaved head either. He probably thinks he is all ‘hot’ with his new sleeve tat, and that shaved head. What is he trying to do go for the Michael Scofield look? Next thing we know and he will have his whole body tattooed.

Page Six is reporting that John Mayer called up his ex Minka Kelly in order to tell her that he is ‘in love’ with Aniston. Somehow I find this rumor a bit far fetched. What does it means when John mentioned he doesn’t get the Jennifer thing, that she couldn’t find love? or why everything thinks she is hot? I think it has something to do with the fact that her hubby was basically stolen away by Saint Angie.. who at the time was definitely not so ‘Saint’ like.
“Minka received a call from John prior to the story breaking about his relationship with Jennifer. He apologized to Minka, ‘Sorry, but I’m really in love.’ ” She found that interesting as, “during his relationship with her, John mentioned, ‘I don’t really get this Jennifer Aniston thing.’”

I guess we will have to wait and see what will unfold with this relationship. Personally I think John Mayer is an a*s! I think Cameron is way too sweet for him, but then again Jessica is sweet and she seemed to hack it out for quite awhile.
