Miley Cyrus has filed a counter suit claiming she’s the victim of an Asian ploy and is now defending herself against those people that sued her for this alleged racist photo that surfaced.

Lucie Kim had sued Miley for $1 billion, on behalf of all Asian-Pacific Islanders in L.A. County.

TMZ is reporting that they have the papers Miley has just filed where she is asking the judge to sanction Kim’s lawyers for filing “a manifestly frivolous” lawsuit that amounts to nothing more than a “publicity stunt in an effort to publicly embarrass and harass [Miley] and to obtain a large and quick class-action settlement.”

Miley’s attorneys are asking the court to make Lucie Kim’s lawyers pay their $26,685 fees.

I have to admit, I do think Miley’s gesture in the picture is scandalous, but suing her for $4 billion dollars is beyond ridiculous! It’s vindictive for adults to file a frivolous lawsuit against a wealthy teenager because their ethnicity has been offended. There are people everywhere of all ethnicities being made fun of, including Caucasians.

Malawi’s Nation newspaper asked Madonna some questions regarding her failed adoption application. While I understand she is very disappointed, all this really means is that she is going to have to go through the proper channels by having a residence there for 18-24 months. Yes it’s a delay, but no doubt her high priced dream team is already in full appeal -mode.

It’s common knowledge that the US has a very nasty habit of allowing those who are privileged to be above the law, that doesn’t seem to be the case in Malawi.

She had this to say:

“I want to provide Mercy with a home, a loving family environment and the best education and health care possible. And it’s my hope that she, like David, will one day return to Malawi and help the people of their country. Though I have been advised that I cannot publicly discuss the pending appeal regarding my desire to adopt Mercy, I do want to say how much I appreciate the level of support that I have received from the people of Malawi and my friends around the world.”

I see that she has already put the onus on the two little children with saving their birth land, so I’m really looking forward to seeing Lourdes help the poor of the USA and little Rocco helping the poor of England.

Madonna, whose adoption bid was refused because she didn’t meet Malawi’s residency requirements still plans to appeal the judge’s decision for not allowing her application to adopt the three-year-old Malawian orphan girl named Mercy James.

The judge had said in his ruling that allowing Madonna to adopt Mercy could encourage child trafficking. Malawi’s laws on adoption are vague but prospective parents are supposed to be residents in the country for an 18- to 24-month assessment period.

That condition had been previously waived to allow her adoption of David Banda back in 2006.

Judge Chondo in his reasons said:

“By removing the very safeguard that is supposed to protect our children, the courts by their pronouncements could actually facilitate trafficking of children by some unscrupulous individuals who would take advantage of the weakness of the law of the land.”

Peter Baneti, who is the uncle of Mercy James, said the family were extremely upset that the little girl would now miss out on a privileged upbringing with Madonna.

Mr Baneti, 41, told The Sunday Telegraph:

“We as a family discussed this and agreed that it is in the best interests of Mercy to have her adopted, so why should the judge stop this if the family is OK with it?”

It is so very sad to me that the little girl isn’t living with any of her family members but has been in an orphanage all her life. It’s my understanding that her mother died shortly after her birth and the little girl’s father has been out of her life completely.

Trying to short-circuit the procedure worked for Madonna the first time but as disappointed that she is she wasn’t able to have things go her away again, she’ll no doubt do what has to be done to be allowed to adopt the child. She now plans on building a home in Malawi in addition to the school for girls that is currently in development according to reports by The Sun.

A source told the newspaper:

“Madonna has a big, beautiful plot of land over there already. She’s planning to build a girl’s school in the Chinkhota village and those designs are well under way, but she’s gone back to the designers and asked if they could accommodate a family home on the plot or on adjacent land.”

She is also building the home so that her adopted son David Banda “can maintain a stronger connection to his homeland.” I read that she arranged for her adopted son to have a visit with his birth father.

Which was nice.

Britney will be performing at the Staples Center arena in LA on April 16, and 17 and she just might have to make an appearance at an L.A. County courtroom… if she is well enough to appear.

Jon Eardley, Esq., the attorney who has said that Britney hired him to nix her conservatorship, has just filed legal documents requesting that she appear at a trial where he has been accused of harassing her and her family.

In his filed legal documents, Eardley suggests that if Britney is well enough to perform, she’s well enough to testify on two points — did she authorize him to take legal action on her behalf and did he really cause her “substantial emotional distress.”

The judge will determine if Britney is competent enough to testify and if it’s fair to force her into court.

Wonder how the judge will rule? Is she or isn’t she well enough? Is someone who is working/ performing on a world tour really incompetent by the standards courts usually use to determine competence? These will no doubt be very simple questions that she will be asked… after all, it’s not like she is in a vegetative state or has been declared permanently disabled or unable to make decisions on basic care for herself.

Chris Brown has just pleaded not guilty to two felony counts — assault and making criminal threats. Rihanna was a no show but his mother was praying and crying for him. Also there in support of Chris were 4 bodyguards.

Donald Etra ,Rihanna’s attorney just made a statement saying that she would be pleased “if it [the case] were over quickly” which means she too is hoping for a plea bargain.

Chris is due back in court on April 29th.

A Los Angeles judge has issued a restraining order against Britney’s ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib. Brit’s conservators already had a temporary restraining order prohibiting Adnan from having contact with her.

During a short hearing this morning, Superior Court Judge Aviva K. Bobb signed off on the restraining order which also includes her parents and her two boys.

This past January, Britney’s father Jamie Spears went to court to seek protection on her behalf against not only Adnan, but her former business manager, Sam Lutfi, and attorney Jon Eardley as well.

Court documents reveal that the three men have tried to undermine the conservatorship, which had to be put into effect because of her erratic behavior last year.

The judge was told by Spear’s attorney that Adnan did not file any objections to a protective order being issued. Adnan and his attorney were no shows today.

The restraining orders are in effect until midnight on March 17, 2012.

The orders will be sent to several Los Angeles law enforcement agencies, and orders Adnan not to have any physical, e-mail or phone contact with Britney Spears or her family. It also orders Ghalib not to try to act on her behalf.

Adnan also is facing felony charges including assault with a deadly weapon. He allegedly hit a process server with his vehicle last month while the man was trying to serve him documents in the restraining order case.

Ghalib has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Amy was tottering around wearing high heels in London today looking as if she was dressed for a night of clubbing when she was actually arriving to the City of Westminster Magistrates Court to face charges for one of her many misbehaving antics!

Last September she did the freak on a fan named Sherene Flash at a charity ball. She plead “not guilty” to one charge of common assault and then checked out. A trial date has been set for July 23rd.
The entire proceedings lasted about 15 minutes.

Her dad Mitch did a fabulous job of chaperoning to make sure she arrived on time and looking so stylish. Her beloved well-worn ballerina slippers were not part of her outfit and it’s painfully obvious she isn’t used to wearing sexy peep-toed pumps. Check out her sexy wobble-walking:

Self-imposed rehab did work wonders on her though. I have to admit, she looks healthy.

Michael Jackson may be in the money again from concert ticket sales in London but his Neverland Ranch is still going to be sold.

Last fall Jackson and Colony Capital became partners in the ranch, with Colony holding a $23.5 million note. Neverland Ranch’s name was changed and it is now called Sycamore Valley. Michael received several million dollars in refinancing and Colony also added its name to the lease.

Well it seems that new buyers are interested in the property. It’s a lucrative offer where they’d pay back Colony in full as well as Michael with several million dollars.

There is a snag though. The new buyers had wanted the estate complete with all of its original artifacts but with the upcoming auction that is scheduled for April 21-25 that creates a problem. Catalogs have already been printed. Next week in New York Julien’s Auction house is planning to exhibit some of the items in the auction.

It’s estimated the auction could bring in somewhere between $10 million and $20 million. Jackson has already publicly promised a portion of the proceeds to the charity MusiCares, which is part of the National Academy for the Recording Arts, or NARAS, the organization that organizes the Grammy Awards. MusiCares helps indigent musicians.

As it stands now, April 3rd has been set as the court date where both sides will argue their positions about the auction. If the proposed Neverland buyers haven’t come to an agreement with Julien’s to sell them the contents of the ranch or reach a settlement with the auction house and give Jackson’s contents back to him, a judge will probably rule that the auction can proceed.

Julien’s Auction House has a signed agreement with Jackson’s MJJ Productions and Tohme Tohme, Michael’s manager dated August 7, 2008. This was signed eight months before Jackson agreed to put tickets on sale for concerts.

The contract states:

Consigned property: All movable and removable personal property located at Neverland Ranch that we take possession of, and any other property that you might choose to deliver to us.”

Paragraph 10 of the agreement entitled “Withdrawl” [sic] states “You may not withdraw your Property from sale after the date upon which you sign this Agreement or Consignment Receipt, whichever is earlier.”

Julien’s Auction House’s lawyers want to question Tohme and a business partner, James R. Weller, some time this week.

Should be interesting!

A hotel manager named Marc Marrouche was arrested on March 5th after he tried to sell Paris Hilton’s cell phone on Craigslist, the New York Post is reporting.

The buyer just happened to be an undercover police officer who offered to pay $5,000 for the phone.

Marrouche’s ex-girlfriend found Paris’ cell at Manhattan nightclub Marquee back in 2005.

Marrouche has been charged with criminal possession of stolen property and could get up to a year in the slammer. I’m surprised that’s all he was charged with. Why not more since there is the high probability of exploitation and extortion involved? Or how about invasions of her privacy and for whoever else’s number is in her phone?

Lindsay Lohan is at Samantha Ronson’s Beachwood Canyon home in L.A. and it’s been the scene of some MAJOR drama today. Lindsay and Sam got into a catfight and Lindsay allegedly tossed something and a window was broken.

TMZ has quite the report on all of the antics that went on. They even have some video as well. Here is a picture of the broken window:

Police have admitted they were called to the house because of a “disturbance complaint,” but apparently, they ended up leaving because the girls wouldn’t answer the door! Both of them are still barricaded inside the house.

Before the police left, they issued parking tickets to the swarm of paparazzi who were staked out all over the neighbourhood!

If this had happened to anyone else, they would have broken down the door using a battering ram or, they would have used tear gas and tasers knowing a “domestic” situation was going on… but hey this is Hollyweird, and celebrity justice has a different set of rules!!

What makes the situation even more complicated…

An arrest warrant was issued on Friday by the Beverly Hills Police in connection with Lindsay Lohan’s 2007 DUI arrest, for which she is still on probation. The Beverly Hills Police department has released the following statement:

“In response to media inquiries, [the] Beverly Hills Police Department is confirming a warrant was in fact issued for the arrest of Lindsay Lohan. The $50,000 warrant issued by the Beverly Hills Superior Court stems from a May 2007 arrest of Miss Lohan for DUI and hit-and-run. The circumstances leading to the issuance of the warrant by the court are not readily available at this time. It is our hope that Miss Lohan will surrender herself so that this matter will be resolved in a timely manner.”

Her new high priced attorney Shawn Chapman Holley has released the following statement:

“Since her case was resolved, Ms. Lohan has been in compliance with all the terms and conditions of her probation and all orders of the Court. The warrant issued on Friday was, in our view, born out of a misunderstanding which I am confident I can clear up next week.”

There is a court hearing now scheduled for Monday so Lindsay won’t be getting arrested this weekend.

TMZ has a copy of the protective order that was filed March 5th in Los Angeles Superior Court, showing the document instructing that Brown must not:

“harass, strike, threaten, assault (sexually or otherwise), follow, stalk, molest, destroy or damage personal or real property, disturb the peace, keep under surveillance, or block movements of” Rihanna.

The order expires in March 2012.

Here is Bobby Trendy who showed up outside of the court house to spread some sweetness as only he can do. He brought along his pooch in a stroller.

Rihanna and Chris are supposedly back together, PEOPLE and TMZ are reporting.

It’s just been three weeks since he beat her her up and an insider source told the magazine:

“They’re together again. They care for each other.”

The two of them have been hiding out at Sean Diddy’s home on Miami Beach’s Star Island.

Adds the source:

“While Chris is reflective and saddened about what happened, he is really happy to be with the woman he loves.”

The snitch told PEOPLE magazine’s latest issue that Chris called Rihanna on her 21st birthday one week ago:

“He called to wish her happy birthday,” a source told the magazine. “They’ve reached out to each other. It’s been mutual.”

The L.A. County D.A. will soon be deciding whether to charge him for the alleged assault on her.

This is really such a sad situation. Even though Rihanna is rich and famous it shows she is not immune from insecurity, low self-esteem and the cycle of abuse.

Rihanna has all the resources that most other abused women don’t to get out of an unhealthy relationship. I feel so sorry for all her young fans that needed her to be strong to set an example.

I’m upset with “Diddy” for supporting their reconciliation by letting them hide out in one of his homes which gives them the privacy that their own places don’t have right now. If he cared about either one of them, he wouldn’t have condoned the violence… the rest of the world was telling her to stay away from him.

PR rep Michael Sitrick, who is dealing with the crisis situation involving Chris Brown and Rihanna made a wise move and suggested that Chris take anger management classes. Brilliant attempt at damage control! This past Monday Chris attended his first one in Glendale, Calif. While he has not been ordered to go, Chris taking the initiative to go on his own just may help him appease the court and at least show the public that he is making an effort to seek the help he so obviously needs.

Rihanna will be returning to Los Angeles so that she can attend the March 5th court date.

The Daily News is reporting that because the February 8th assault was his first offence, and even with her testimony, if convicted, he most likely won’t have to do any jail time.

Last night, the photo of Rihanna with the injuries she allegedly got during the fight she had with her boyfriend Chris Brown made the internet. It was such a sad disturbing photo I didnt’ feel right posting it.

Anyways…

The LAPD now has an internal investigation to determine who sold or leaked the picture to one of the major celebrity news sites, TMZ. They issued the following statement last night asking for the public’s assistance :

“The photograph has the appearance of one taken during an official domestic violence investigation. The Los Angeles Police Department takes seriously its duty to maintain the confidentiality of victims of domestic violence. A violation of this type is considered serious misconduct, with penalties up to and including termination.”

Only Harry Levin and TMZ know how they obtained the photo. It may have been someone close to Rihanna’s, so until we are told the reasons why it was released, we should not jump to conclusions.

The one positive that I can see with it being released is that it shows that celebrities are human and also shows the younger fans who idolize Rihanna that abuse is never acceptable. Victims of domestic violence need to tell someone, instead of running back to their “abuser.” It’s a lesson hopefully others who are in a similar situation to hers learn.

Today is Rihanna’s 21st birthday.

Rihanna’s rep issued the following statement:

“At the request of the authorities, Rihanna is not commenting about the incident involving Chris Brown. She wants to assure her fans that she remains strong, is doing well, and deeply appreciates the outpouring of support she has received during this difficult time.”

Suge Knight got his a** kicked again.

He had been at a private party at the W Hotel in Scottsdale, AZ for NBA All-Star weekend.

According to the Scottsdale PD website, when police arrived, they saw a man punch the victim — aka Suge — two times in the head.” Officers had to break out the tasers to “quell the fight.”

The suspect, Robert Carnes Jr., was charged with one count of felony aggravated assault — they ruled it a felony “due to the severity of the victim’s injuries.” A second man was also arrested and charged with one count of misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

According to the Scottsdale PD, “Carnes reported to officers that he is employed as the business manager for singer ‘Akon.’”

Suge was taken to a local hospital and had to undergo treatment for facial injuries.

Apparently, Akon had left the party and was back in his hotel room at The W when the fight was going on.

Akon’s publicist released the following statement about Robert Carnes Jr., the guy accused of beating Suge’s ass:

“He is not Akon’s business manager, David Bolno is. He is with Akon’s camp.”

Suge used to be the man at one time but that time is over since he’s got random dudes stepping up to him with no fear of consequences! Why doesn’t he relocate to somewhere far away, catch some rays and give up this partying and getting KO’d biznass?

Adnan Ghalib, a paparazzo and ex-boyfriend of Britney Spears who recently was issued a court order to stay away from her is now under investigation for assault with a deadly weapon a vehicle, which is a felony.

A process server went to Ghalib’s Encino apartment to serve him legal papers ordering him to appear in the restraining order case yesterday morning.

The process server was waiting for him in the alley when Ghalib drove by and allegedly hit the process server causing him to land on the hood of Adnan’s vehicle.

Adnan supposedly left the scene and the process server called police at 10:42 AM. When the cops got there, they noticed the process server had cuts and scratches, but he did not want any medical treatment for his injuries.

A Los Angeles woman named Lucie J. Kim has filed a class action suit against Miley Cyrus, claiming she made fun of Asians by slanting her eyes in the picture above. She wants $4 billion.

Lucie J. Kim is stating she is representing more than 1 million Asian Pacific Islanders who live in L.A. County. Her document also claims when Miley posed for the photo, she “knew or should have known that her image would be publicly disseminated via the media, which Cyrus knew focused on her private life, specifically TMZ.”

In her lawsuit that she filed today in L.A. County Superior Court, she claims that each Asian Pacific Islander is entitled to the minimum damages for a civil rights violation which amounts to $4,000, which when added up would total $4 billion!

Miley has apologized twice for the photo, the second apology coming after her first one didn’t cut it. The second apology while sounding more sincere, apparently still hasn’t appeased many in the Asian community.

Kim said in her lawsuit papers that Miley’s “just a kid” apology is not acceptable. She says it is similar to Paris Hilton claiming to be just a kid. What else is not acceptable according to many others is that 16 year old Miley is sitting on the lap of an adult at a party with other adults who are drinking what appears to be alcohol.

I wonder about the other kids in the picture doing the same face, are they being sued as well? I’m thinking no since none of them are as wealthy.

Miley’s reps have not yet released a comment.

Chris Brown and Rihanna canceled their Grammy appearances yesterday and the reason is because they had a fight that turned physical with RiRi ending up with “visible injuries.”

The picture above was taken earlier in the evening and it was in this rented Lamborghini as they were on their way back to their hotel that they started arguing. They got out of the car, argued, things got physical, she was injured and he split the scene. Someone in the neighbourhood apparently heard her screams and called 911. Police came, pictures of her injuries were taken, and a warrant was then issued for his arrest after the ‘victim’ as she was initially referred to by the police identified him as her attacker.

He was then later driven to the police station by his high powered celebrity attorney Mark Geragos and surrendered to LAPD on Sunday evening. He was taken into custody at 6:30 p.m. and was officially booked at 7:41 p.m. He has been charged with one felony criminal threats charge after an alleged assault and his bail was set at $50,000. If the D.A. files the case, domestic violence charges may possibly be added.

The bail was paid and Chris was released shortly after being booked. The vehicle is still sitting in an impound lot. Since it was a rental, Chris is going to have to pay the rate of 2k a day until it is released.

Reps for Rihanna, released a statement saying:

“Rihanna is well. Thank you for your concern and support.”

Update on Rihanna’s condition:

TMZ is reporting:

“that her injuries were severe — two “huge contusions” which swelled up on both sides of her forehead. We’re told she also suffered “a bloody lip and nose.”

One of the law enforcement people put it this way — the contusions “look like an MMA fighter or something … [It] looked like she was growing devil’s horns.”

As we reported, the photos show major contusions on both sides of the singer’s face — there is serious swelling and bruising. Her lip is split and her nose bloody. We have now confirmed there are bite marks on one of her arms and on several fingers.

For several weeks, Britney, K-Fed and Pappy Spears have been privately trying to work out a plan to allow her sons to travel with her while she goes on tour. An agreement was in the works to have homes in three states, New Jersey, New Orleans, and Los Angeles. Sean Preston and Jayden James would stay in one of these three homes depending on the region she was performing in and Britney would commute back and forth to them.

It was also discussed that Britney would pay for separate homes for K-Fed in the three states as well so that he would be there with the children also.

Apparently the three of them had worked out the arrangement without the input of any of their attorneys… but apparently K-Fed’s lawyers got wind of it all and were not pleased they were not consulted.

The latest word TMZ is reporting about it is that while nothing concrete has been signed in writing, but…

Britney has just posted this statement on her website:

“Both Sean Preston and Jayden James will, in fact, be joining Britney throughout the duration of her tour.”

Britney had threatened to cancel her tour if the boys would not be allowed to travel with her. Guess that settled it for all of them! Mommy Spears pays everyone’s bills, so if she doesn’t work, no one gets paid!

These two leeches were the subject of a court hearing in LA today.

Adnan Ghalib and Sam Lutfi both had restraining orders filed against them ordering them to stay away from Britney. Her father and attorney went to court and filed documents stating that these two leeches had tried to mess with Britney’s conservatorship:

“in a way that would be extremely harmful to her.”

Jon Eardly, an attorney who represented / acted on behalf of Lufti, also had an order filed against him as well.

TMZ is reporting about it but the gist of it is this:

“One of the lawyers in the case filed a declaration saying over the past month she received “multiple telephone calls and text messages from Lutfi.” She says Lutfi wanted to set up an urgent meeting to “speak with Mr. Spears and me with regard to what he claimed was ‘information he had received about Mr. Spears and his daughter, Britney Spears as well as others.’” The attorney also says Lutfi claimed “he had been talking with Adnan Ghalib about the conservatorship and Ms. Spears’ status as a conservatee.

In another document, one of the conservatorship lawyers claims “Mr. Lutfi has sent text messages and instant messages that contain false and hurtful allegations concerning Mr. Spears, Ms. Spears, and the Spears family.” The lawyer continues, “Mr. Lutfi, Adnan Ghalib, and Jon Eardley sought unsuccessfully to induce an attorney to file” false statements with the court.”

TMZ goes on to write:

“The papers make it clear….”Over the past month, Ms. Spears has had numerous telephone conversations with both Mr. Lutfi and Mr. Ghalib and has exchanged numerous text messages with both of them.” But we’re told now Brit is so mad at them she wants them locked up.

Interesting fun fact: In the petition for the TRO, it says Brit has been communicating with Adnan and that “Ms. Spears innocently informs Mr. Ghalib of her destinations and that he then arranges for paparazzi to meet and film her to his financial benefit.”

So it seems that Daddy’s little girl has been naughty. She was in communication with them both but now she’s pissed off at them for some reason, is afraid and wants them jailed! The fact that the papers show she was still talking with them, which in itself is beyond disturbing, just goes to show she is not well yet and most definitely still needs to be under the conservatorship until she is stabilized.

I wonder if Pappy Spears can sue them both for harrassment. They need more than a restraining order to get rid of these freaks. She is NOT well mentally, it’s really frightening that these two are still trying to manipulate and take advantage of her.
