Ne-Yo and his actress girlfriend Monyetta Shaw are the proud parents of a baby girl. People reports thatMonyeta delivered Madilyn Grace Smith this past Friday night in Atlanta. Ne-Yo went on Twitter to announce the news not long after the birth, with the R&B singer saying “Much luv to my twit fam and everybody showin’ luv to my new addition!! She’s healthy and happy. Feels like I’m in luv for the first time. Welcoming that lil’ girl to the world last night defined for me what ‘willing to kill and die for’ truly means. My world, my life, all hers.” Ne-Yo was reportedly at a charity event for his foundation when he got the news that Monyetta had gone into labor. He rushed to the hospital and made it in time for the birth. Madilyn was supposed to be due at the beginning of January. I hope she stays healthy for being born premature.

Some people try to ignore how huge Rihanna’s forehead is. Some people actually don’t notice it because of how the R&B singer covers it up with her hairstyle. I still think she’s gorgeous though but there are some people who tease her about it. In a recent interview, Ne-Yo talked about haters to quit talking about Rihanna’s head, saying “Everyone knows that Rihanna has a great big forehead! There’s nothing wrong with it. It’s just… Rihanna’s forehead is two of yours! I can say that because I’m big brother.” I’m not exactly sure how that helped in getting the teasing to stop.

Here’s the latest for those who don’t know what’s sort of been going on between Ne-Yo and Yung Berg.

A few days back Ne-Yo did a guest appearance on the L.A. morning radio show “Big Boy’s Neighborhood” and Big asked him what person he would want to slap with three fingers. Ne-Yo’s response was Yung Berg. The reason he chose Yung was ” for not being creative and for biting T-Pain and Lil Wayne by using the Auto-Tune effect on his song The Business.”

Berg of course had to respond defending himself with a video blog, in which he questioned Ne-Yo’s sexuality and even referred to Ne-Yo as “Miss Independent.” Berg also wrote that Ne-Yo’s girlfriend wanted him.

Well …. Ne-Yo hadn’t read the blog but when he was asked about it last Wednesday night at Gotham Hall in Manhattan — before his big Hennessy Artistry party and concert, he had a laugh about it all. He said:

“Response for what? That ain’t my lane, dude. I don’t beef. I don’t do that. That ain’t my thing. I don’t do dis records. I don’t do beef. I don’t do any of that blogs talking about cats. I don’t do that. That ain’t my thing. I’m a grown man. I got money to make.

I can’t work with people that’s doing this for the fame element or the money element, I think that’s what’s destroying music. You got cats out here that are copycatting and doing stuff that’s popular. You know, doing it because that’s what’s in right now, whatever the case may be — but basically what you’re doing is killing music. You’re killing the creative element of what this is, which was the basis of this whole thing, which is self-expression.”

He will be writing for Usher’s new album, and Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson. So yeah… he’s got better things to do!

Looks like Nicole was getting a bit frisky with Ne Yo at the Gnarls Barkley party. Don’t put it all on Nicole though, he has his hand tightly wrapped around her fine booty! Nicole looks so “in like” in this shot, although I doubt that is the case. She is probably just striking a pose for the camera!

 

“I have no idea what’s going on with Britney Spears. The last thing I heard is that Britney was mad at me over some songs that were supposed to go to her, but wound up going to Nicole Scherzinger.”

“I was working with Britney Spears’ people. I wrote 6 to 8 songs for Britney Spears. Then Britney goes ahead and shaves her head, goes into rehab and when that happened I lost all contact with her A&R people, with her label. I was calling them, they weren’t answering my calls. So in the process of all that going on, that’s when I met Nicole Scherzinger. I played her two songs, she loved them, they cut the check and she recorded the songs. So when that happened that’s when Britney’s people called and said ‘ why are you giving away Britney’s songs’ and I say ‘uh, hold on..y’all didn’t cut me a check’”

 Its a shame that Britney didn’t get any songs from Ne-Yo he is quite the writer. I am not sure why Britney wouldn’t have bought the songs right off the bat its not as if she doesn’t have the cash!
