Jennifer Love Hewitt appeared to get into a heated discussion with boyfriend Jamie Kennedy in Hawaii.

The couple, who are on a romantic sojourn, soon appeared to patch it up, however. Hewitt was seen in a kaftan, while writer Kennedy, 39, had a striped towel draped over his head and another wrapped around his waist.

They indulged in a long make-up kiss after the mini-spat. The 30-year-old actress, meanwhile, showed off a lovely toned bikini bod.

Last year she spoke out about the media’s obsession with size-zero. She said: "I’ve sat by in silence for a long time now about the way women’s bodies are constantly scrutinised. To set the record straight, I’m not upset for me, but for all of the girls out there that are struggling with their body image. A size 2 is not fat! Nor will it ever be. And being a size-zero doesn’t make you beautiful. I know what I look like, and so do my friends and family. And like all women out there should, I love my body."

She added: "To all girls with butts, boobs, hips and a waist, put on a bikini – put it on and stay strong."
