It seems the former Beatle whose son recently formed a The Light along with drummer Bryan Johnson and bassist Charlie Turner has greatly inspired his son’s artistic evolution. James McCartney said the following about his musical prospects: “I have been playing music since I was nine and writing along the way. I met my band about a year ago. Producer David Kahne introduced us and my dad helped. I am currently recording an album. The music was inspired by The Beatles, Nirvana, The Cure, PJ Harvey, Radiohead and all good music.” I don’t know what Paul McCartney’s been teaching his son, but Radiohead isn’t exactly fit to be placed in the same category as The Beatles… or even Nirvana. Oh well, he’s still young, he’ll learn
