A year has passed since Rihanna’s terrible encounter with Chris Brown and she seems to have moved on with everything, but the singer is reticent on performing at the Grammys this year. When asked who could change her mind about performing at the awards, Rihanna replied the following: “I don’t know. We messed up the show pretty bad last year, so they’re probably a little mad at me right now.” Well, they might be a little mad, but they could get over it. After all, you don’t see Chris Brown have any guilt trips about this or apologizing to anybody. How come Rihanna is the one that feels so constrained about this?
Dancing with the Stars host Samantha Harris is quitting the show after eight seasons.
Harris, 36, joined the show as co-host in season two in 2006 but has now announced that she will not be appearing on the tenth season, which kicks off on March 22.
She confirmed the news and said she is ready to take on ‘expanded responsibilities on The Insider’.
It is not yet known who her replacement will be and who will appear alongside her co-host Tom Bergeron in the future.
ABC’s rep said: “It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Samantha. She will be much missed, but always part of the DWTS family.
“We support her and wish her all the best in her future endeavours.”
It’s probably not the part she was dreaming of, but hey, work is scarce all around, isn’t it? It seems that Jennifer Lopez will be guest-starring on an episode of “How I met your mother” in March. Her character is described as follows: “A no-nonsense self-help guru teaching women how to ‘train’ men in relationships through the power of denial.” Right, so Jennifer Lopez is going to be somewhat of a male manipulator that shares her knowledge with the rest of the world. Marc Antony is probably going to have loads of fun with her after she does this character… or is it the other way around?
Billy Ray Cyrus was recently spotted taking a walk with his dog, sporting homeless chic fashion and a very questionable tattoo. The washed up country singer now has a tattoo of a red heart with a big and bold calligraphy of the word ‘lately’ on his arm. When asked what it meant, Billy Ray said that it was the name of his next album. I guess the record label wouldn’t bother to buy him any promotion in print so he decided to permanently remind himself of his failures. Well that was smart. Pfft. Oh well, there’s always laser tattoo removal if it ends up haunting him.
Music boss Simon Cowell was offered $100 million to stay on American Idol but said “there is more to life than money”.
The 50-year-old star recently revealed he will step down from his position as a judge on the hit US talent show at the end of the current series.
His friend and fellow Britain’s Got Talent judge Piers Morgan, 44, has told how the star was offered a large sum to return but turned it down.
Morgan said to UK’s Live magazine: “I’ve rarely seen Simon look so relaxed and happy. He’s finally concluded his deal to leave American Idol and launch The X Factor in the States, and the relief of now being able to control every aspect of every show he stars in is obvious.
“And to all those who say he’s only interested in money, I can confirm that he was offered $100 million to stay on American Idol – and declined. ‘There is more to life than money, Piers,’ sighed Simon.”
Ryan Reynolds was forced to miss wife Scarlett Johansson’s first night on Broadway after missing his flight to New York.
The 33-year-old actor “missed his flight and needed to take a later flight” after attending the Sundance Film Festival.
However, Johansson’s co-stars in A View from the Bridge say the actor has been supportive and has regularly gone to see his wife during her rehearsals.
Jessica Hecht said: “He came up several times. They’re so lovely together and he’s so supportive. He would come up in between the breaks, like between the matinee and evening, just to have dinner with her. They’re just a really sweet couple.”
Heidi Klum was immortalised with a waxwork likeness at Madame Tussauds in Berlin.
The 36-year-old supermodel said of the figurine that shows a good amount of cleavage and a bee-hive style bun: “It is a pretty good likeness, but it’s pretty strange to look yourself in the eyes.”
The waxwork took the collaboration of 10 and several months. Its cost was £175,000 ($284,500).

The singer whose popularity with the ladies is out of this world, or so he seems to believe, recently admitted that he is not over his former girlfriend, Jennifer Aniston. This is what John Mayer said on the matter: “I’ve never really gotten over it. It was one of the worst times of my life. I have this weird feeling, a pride thing, for the people I’ve had relationships with. What would I be saying to Jen, who I think is fucking fantastic, if I said to her, ‘I don’t dislike you. At the next edition of the Grammy Awards, Michael Jackson will perform once more through the miracles of technology… and he will be joined by artists such as Celine Dion, Carrie Underwood, Usher and so on. The miracle is possible through a 3-D video of Michael Jackson’s “Earth Song” which would have also appeared at his London shows. This is what Ken Erhlich, co-execute producer of the Grammys, said on the matter: “It was one of the most important portions of the concert tour to Michael, and when Michael saw the film for the first time at his last rehearsal, there were tears in his eyes.” Well, this is one way to draw more crowds for the Grammys this year, isn’t it? And wasn’t this sort of tribute to Michael Jackson done before? And if not… how come?
Brad Pitt has bought the home of his Los Feliz neighbours for a reported $1.1million.
Pitt expanded his spread in the funky Los Angeles neighbourhood and home to many in the film industry with the 3,232-square-foot, 1920’s key-shaped home. The property is located in the gated Oaks area.
The property was listed in 2008 at an asking price of $2million before it was reduced to $1.495million. The property is a two-bedroom, two-bath home with a 0.25-acre lot, stone fireplace, bar area, spacious living rooms and a secret cave.
Pitt made the purchase through his Mondo Bongo Trust in August.
The Los Feliz compound is the site of a five-bedroom Craftsman house, an adjoining foot house, a 1,307-square-foot strip of vacant land and another foot house.

This is what Robert Sillerman, CEO of CKX, the company that spawned 19 Entertainment, said about the future prospects of American Idol: “As talented as Cowell is…’Idol’s’ future with this long-term extension is guaranteed.” And now it’s all going to get even more interesting seeing as how they will have competition for the title of most awesomest talent-show ever. A source close to Jessica Simpson says that despite the reports, the singer is not actually dating Billy Corgan. The source said “Jessica loved spending so much time in and out of the studio with Billy. She’s in awe of his musical prowess, and it adds to her feelings for him, but they are not dating. Dating Jessica publicly can be intense. Billy maintains a quiet, private music-focused life and the taste of publicity he got while being with Jessica was an eye opener. Kimberley Walsh is feeling the tug of the maternal urge.
The 28-year-old Girls Aloud star said she can’t wait to start a family with her boyfriend, Justin Scott. The couple has been dating for seven years.
Walsh said: “Justin is stubborn and will only [pop the question] when he feels the time is right, not because people tell him he should.”
Walsh appeared in St Trinian’s (2007) and has been an expert judge on The X Factor. She is the younger sister of actress Sally Walsh.

Kim Kardashian has denied reports that her boyfriend Reggie Bush is going to propose if The Saints won the Superbowl.
Kardashian, 29, has been with the NFL runningback since 2007 and after a short split last year, they are stronger than ever.
However, the reality star said that gossip reports that they are about to get engaged are far off the mark.
She said on her blog: “There is a story going around saying I made a bet that Reggie would propose if The Saints won the Superbowl. This is now true. I never made any kind of bet.
“A radio interviewer asked what I dreamed for in 2010 and I was hesitant and thinking about it and they said what about a ring… I said yes, a Superbowl ring for Reggie.
“Then they said that if he gets a Superbowl ring, I get an engagement ring, and I said ‘ok deal’ LOL. This was taken way out of context by a lot of media outlets, who are saying I made a bet with Reggie, which I didn’t.”
Model Kate Moss has reportedly got engaged to her Kills guitarist boyfriend Jamie Hince.
Hince, 40, is said to have flown out to see the 36-year-old model while she was working in Mustique.
Reports claim Hince proposed to the star on her recent 36th birthday with a diamond ring that he had help choosing from her Topshop boss Philip Green.
The couple first met in September 2007, shortly after she split with Pete Doherty.
A friend of the star said: “Kate was stunned, Jamie called her up and told her not to come home. He said he was flying out to Mustique.
“He had carefully picked a ring and chose her birthday to propose. It was the first time they had been alone together in quite a while and it was extremely emotional.
“Kate and Jamie are in a very good place – they already live together and this is the next step to settling down for good.”
It seems that it wasn’t just Fergie who was overjoyed and happy about her vow renewal… her husband, Josh Duhamel, who is now apparently a new and improved version of himself, was also very excited about the endeavor. This is what Josh Duhamel said about his second “wedding” with Fergie: “It was the best date we had ever. I got to surprise her. I said, ‘Just be ready at 3 o’clock.’” Yeah… just keep the illusion going! The man is good though… Fergie seems to have forgotten about his little mishap in the past.
