Sexy star Jessica Biel maintains her toned body by following a strict diet for six days, followed by a day of enjoying whatever she feels like she has revealed.

“When I’m working and I eat healthily all week, I then give myself one day – usually Sunday – when I just eat what I want, the actress said.

“You have to, otherwise your mind goes a little nutso.”

The A Team star also admitted she cuts out bread, dairy, sugar, salt and doesn’t eat much meat when she is working and that her fitness regime includes sessions with a personal trainer two to three times a week.

Hitting the gym, hiking and ballet also helped her stay in shape, Biel said.

But 28 year-old says she is no saint in the health department.

“I’m not a perfect person who doesn’t mess up, eat bad, not work out – I do all those things,” she told UK’s Glamour magazine.

Kate Hudson says she has accepted her body is not perfect and that she put on weight to look “plainer” for her new film.

“I’m pretty comfortable with my body. I’m imperfect,” the UK Telegraph reports Hudson commenting. “The imperfections are there. People are going to see them, but I take the view you only live once.”

Hudson also revealed that for her role in the upcoming The Killer Inside Me, she let herself gain weight.

“Right before then I had been working out a lot and had become super muscular, which I didn’t like either. It wouldn’t have been right for that part, I wanted to look plainer. Not glamorous.”

But, seeing herself on the big screen surprised the star. “I was shocked too. But I don’t like watching myself on the big screen at the best of times. I hardly recognised myself in this one.”

Desperate Housewives star Terri Hatcher has revealed how she maintains her stunning beach body and insists “I don’t diet”.

The 45-year-old, who recently took part in the Malibu Triathlon event, says she goes to the gym regularly.

The mother of one also says she will “try a few times a week to go out for a hike or a run or a bike ride, to do something cardio”.

She also tells Australia’s NW magazine she follows a diet that’s high in protein with lots of fruit and vegetables.

“I eat healthily,” she says.

“I don’t diet at all. I love food but I’m one of those girls who would rather have a bowl of pasta than sugar or a dessert.”

Girls Aloud singer Kimberley Walsh has said she is not vain enough to spend her life on a diet.

The 27-year-old denied that she was constantly slimming but said she did have to work at her body.

She said: “I haven’t got the willpower for it and I’m not vain enough to be hungry my whole life.

“I love my food but I’m not one of those girls who can eat what they want.

“I have to keep on top of it and keep it under control but I never weigh myself.”

She added: “It’s awful when you exercise for months and months and the scales don’t move, so I go by clothes. Weight goes straight to my bum so I know I’ve gone a bit too far if I put my favourite jeans on and the top button doesn’t quite meet. My jeans are the perfect set of scales.”

Kimberley said the celebrities she studies for style tips tend to be more curvy.

She said: “I look more to Beyonce and J-Lo because they’ve got the smaller waist and bigger bum like I have so I like to see what looks good on them.”

The singer also said that surgery was “not an option” for her.

She added: “I’ve not got any majorly strong views about it, I just wouldn’t ever dare take that kind of risk for vanity.”
