Desperate Housewives beauty Teri Hatcher says she’s banned Botox – and posted Facebook photos to prove it.
The 45-year-old American actress did the mini-photoshoot moments after stepping out of the shower, wearing no makeup and with her hair still wet.
Wearing just a white towel, she wrinkled up her face in an effort to show her face hasn’t been “frozen” by cosmetic surgeries such as Botox and collagen.
She titled the photo album “Oy with the Botox!” and wrote: “Out of the bath getting ready for bed. Thought about all those damn critics of my face. Love it or hate it, my face that is, [it's] no surgery, no implants … no matter what ‘they’ say. I decided I’d shoot myself to reveal some truths about ‘beauty’ and hope it makes you all easier on yourself.”
Next to a picture of her smiling, Hatcher gave FB fans a few tips on looking younger in photos, writing: “45 year old me. Just me wanting to teach that all those glam versus trash pictures of the celebs are about LIGHTING. It’s not makeup, it’s not suregery [sic] or botox it’s LIGHT. Flat front light in your face especially sun setting 4pm light really blows out all wrinkles and imperfections.”
There is speculation that former Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin has had breast enlargement surgery.
The one-time Vice Presidential nominee has been seen wearing a tight white T-shirt, appearing “bustier” than usual, The Daily Mail reports.
The mother of five and her husband Todd Palin were attending the Belmont Stakes in New York to watch their horse First Dude run when photos of the politician sparked rumours that she had undergone cosmetic surgery.
Political blog Wonkette said: “We can report with confidence that at least two people with experience in having breasts say that Sarah Palin sure looks like she was trotting out some new work at the horse races on Sunday.”
A representative for Christie Brinkley has denied that she underwent a facelift at the same time her daughter Alexa Ray Joel Ray had a nose job this month.
Alexa Ray checked into Lenox Hill hospital in New York for a rhinoplasty procedure and there had been speculation Brinkley had elected to have cosmetic surgery at the same time.
A spokeswoman for the 56-year-old model said: “Alexa had breathing difficulties due to a deviated septum and decided to correct the appearance of her nose at the same time.
“As far as Christie is concerned, she was at Lenox Hill to support her daughter, and throughout her career people have speculated that she’s done this or that, which she always chooses to take as a compliment.”
Alexa Ray Joel revealed her new look this week, stepping out at the Tribecca Film Festival with her mother. The young singer recently said of the procedure: “I was thinking about getting this for years.”
Heidi Montag became the butt of her family’s jokes in the season premiere of The Hills on US TV last night.
The 23-year-old reality TV star went to visit her mother, sister and step-dad in Colorado to show them her new face after multiple plastic surgery procedures.
Montag’s mum Darlene appeared horrified by the results and told her daughter: “It sounds to me like you do want to look like Barbie.”
That brought an instant reaction from Montag who declared: “I do want to look like Barbie.”
Later on in the episode Heidi and her family went for dinner and continued to probe her about her motivation for getting so much work done.
Heidi’s sister Holly said: “You were always so outgoing and so confident … I was envious of the confidence you had. I don’t know what happened.”
Heidi replied: “I just wanted to be happier and couldn’t fix who I was being upset with how I looked on the outside.”
Holly then asked Heidi how her burger was, to which the blonde bombshell replied that she couldn’t chew it.
Darlene couldn’t resist one final joke, asking: “You want me to put it in a blender for you?”
It didn’t go down well and Montag had to hold back the tears as the family realised they pushed the joke too far.

I had absolutely no idea Pete Wentz was 28 years old! I thought he was around my age (22)! Here are the pictures of him celebrating his birthday with his girlfriend Ashlee Simpson. I have to say she went from being pretty hideous to very very sexy with her new nose and hairstyle! I hope she doesn’t go in for any more surgeries because she will probably end up just f*cking herself up! BTW Pete celebrated his birthday at ‘his’ new club Angels and Kings in NY. You think he could have gotten a fancier birthday cake?
