The singer recently admitted that three years ago he wasn’t really doing very well. His addiction had been so bad that Robbie Williams didn’t really care about what was going to happen next, as relates: “I was not in a good place. I was dying. I got to a point where I really, genuinely didn’t care. I’d just got fat and depressed before. Then this one was like, you might die, now. Cool!” But then miracle struck and he met Ayda Field and is now on his way to getting married and living happily ever-after. Is Robbie Williams trying to land an autobiography movie or book deal? After all, what other celebrity before him ever overcame addiction and found true happiness? It’s not a very common occurrence.

The singer made a very bold move recently by proposing to his girlfriend Ayda Field on the radio. Apparently they were in the studio of an Australian radio show and when Robbie Williams was asked if he had any news to share, he turned to Ayda Field and said the following: “Is there anyone you want to get married to? Will you marry me?” Of course Robbie Williams’ proposal got accepted by his girlfriend but get this: everybody’s waiting on an official spokesperson to confirm whether the proposal was genuine or not as it was all an unplanned proceeding. Well after art, looks like spontaneity is the next to go… nice knowing ya!

The singer admitted that he tried his best to push away his current girlfriend, actress Ayda Field, at the beginning of their relationship. Robbie Williams said: “I’ve always been, ‘You’re not getting in.’ I never gave anybody a chance really. Ayda was different. I was like, ‘Do something mad so I can finish with you. Just give me a hard time. Turn into a monster. Be unreasonable. ‘When I’m grumpy, you get grumpy, this will escalate. That frustrates me and makes me look at myself as a person.’” That doesn’t really make a whole lot of sense… on a lexical level actually. One would get Robbie Williams being a chronic introvert, it’s not that uncommon, but his statement is a bit… misleading.
