It seems the highly passionate musician is having trouble with the law again after he and a few of his buddies from Boo-Yaa T.R.I.B.E. beat up a few other guys some years ago. Kid Rock will be seeing the inside of a court-room for that one again, but before he does he has requested that his on-stage persona and all around “bad guy” attitude not be taken into account. Kid Rock probably needn’t worry about a thing… after all, as free of prejudice the legal system is these days, it probably wasn’t even considered. And besides, it’s common sense: what bad guy would actually gather up with his band mates and beat up people?

Tito Jackson is being accused of single handedly ruining a Michael Jackson tribute concert last year and now, the guy behind the show is looking to settle the score. A concert promoter named Roy Isaac has sent a letter to Tito demanding that he return a $7500 deposit that the King of Pop’s brother was paid for a concert in Michigan that never took place. Isaac says that the whole thing fell apart because Tito refused to do any press for the show. Now, Isaac says that Tito has 30 days to pay him back or else, he’ll come face to face with a lawsuit.
The singer who turned into an uninspired fashion designer is apparently getting another pat on the back from fate as she is being sued by a paparazzo who supposedly got hit by her car. This is what the unnamed victim supposedly said regarding suing Lindsay Lohan and the accident he was involved: “I’m going to sue them, but I don’t care about the money. I want to press charges so badly – she’s going to jail.” Right… so it doesn’t really matter that it wasn’t Lindsay Lohan who was driving, in which case the driver should be the one facing the legal difficulties, the money isn’t important either, the man just wants to see Lindsay Lohan go to jail. Now what kind of paparazzo doesn’t care about the money? Could a plot be brewing here?
After being accused of having outstanding debts to the government, Courtney Love is now being ordered by a judge to pay Elite Maids three thousand dollars. Of course, Courtney Love didn’t even bother with this and just let the company sue her and win… after all, it’s not like Ms. Cobain has run out of funds just yet. Either that, or three thousand dollars is nothing compared to what she has to pay in taxes. But the question arises: if there are no more maids for Courtney Love, who’s doing all the cleaning? Can’t be her… she’s Ms. Cobain, after all.
Former Spice Girl Mel B is suing a former business partner for a whopping $7 million.
The singer – whose real name is Melanie Brown – and her husband, Stephen Belafonte, have slapped Dan Catullo with a lawsuit.
The couple claim a big business deal with Catullo fell apart and are now suing him for millions.
Mel B, also known as Scary Spice, and Belafonte claim they tried to join forces with Catullo in 2008, by setting up a company to profit off her “music, touring, merchandising and public appearances”.
The couple allege Catullo not only backed out of the $2 million deal, but that he also defrauded her in a number of ways including forging Mel B’s signature on a financial document.
They are now suing Catullo for $7 million for fraud, breach of contract and a number of other alleged offences.

Amy Winehouse has filed a lawsuit against her former mother-in-law for selling one of her love letters addressed to her son, Blake Fielder-Civil. The letter was said to be written while he was serving time for assault and perverting justice and his mother, Georgette, intercepted it. The singer is suing for copyright infringement and £50,000 compensation. I guess that’s what would qualify as sweet revenge as Georgette has previously accused Wino for Blake’s drug habit. Here’s to hoping that Wino will have enough smarts in her to not want to deal with that family ever again. Divorce, jail and rehab should be enough reasons.
Lisa Marie Presley’s former nanny has slapped the daughter of the King of Rock and Roll with a big old lawsuit. According to the legal documents, Christine White says that she became the singer’s postpartum caregiver only weeks after Lisa Marie gave birth to her twin daughters in October 2008. The lawsuit claims that Lisa Marie never paid the nanny for working overtime, even though she was working seven days a week. The nanny’s suit also claims that Lisa Marie didn’t allow her to take breaks for meals. That just sounds awful. I think that if you don’t have time to take care of your own kids, you probably shouldn’t have any.
It seems that the widow of the late Beatles singer, John Lennon, has recently won the copyright to some very valuable photos of her husband and his family. Moreover, it seems that Yoko Ono intends to keep the material private and has even refused to comment on her recent victory. Business must be going good, those pictures are probably worth a fortune. But hey, family intimacy is priceless, right? Or at least so everybody claims until the tax collectors come a’ knocking. How ironic it would be for the pictures to leak on the internet for some particular reason or some unhappy loser of some particular trial.

Pop superstar Beyonce is being threatened with a million-dollar lawsuit for pulling out of a gig.
The star was advertised to be performing a low-key show at new hip New York club M2 on Saturday.
But club owner Joey Morrissey, who says he agreed to pay $200,000 for the performance, says he was told on the Wednesday before that Beyonce would not be able to perform that night.
The show was supposed to help launch her I Am… Sasha Fierce North American tour, and Morrissey says he had already spent $100,000 in preparation after signing contracts.
"They said they were too busy with the launching of the tour and that they wouldn’t have time to do the kickoff party," Morrissey said.
Morrissey says Beyoncé offered to stop by the club "to hang out for an hour" on Sunday.
He said: "We sold tables for thousands of dollars for the show, and spent $100,000 renting a soundboard and other equipment, as per their stipulations. What good does her showing up for an hour do me? They’ve been totally unwilling to agree to another show."
As a result, Morrissey says he’s now preparing to file suit against Beyoncé, claiming his place has suffered a "loss of reputation" in addition to the sunk cash.
